Rooms are inside the Chung king mansions. If you come through the main entrance, take the first right and then left to block E. The hotel name is unique hotel. The environment is really crowded and felt unsafe. Would definitely not recommend, but if on a budget then can stay just for the night.

Actually you find this place under the name "Unique Hotel" in Block E, 9th floor of famous Chungking Mansion. If you enther through the main entrance (follow the signs on the ceiling) turn right and in between the food stalls left all until the end to the escalator. The staff and the owner are super friendly. The accommodation gets cleaned every day. Rooms are small but this is Hongkong. If you just use the place to catch some sleep in between exploring it's absolutely fine. There is a fridge and a microwave you can use if you need to. Location itself is exciting. The groundfloor of the Mansion complex is quite shady with drug dealers and offensively starring indians but overall safe. You also find snacks, drinks and food there if you missed out to buy it throughout the day.

Not recommended, whether it’s Yan Yan or Ruby International, or other hostels located inside Chungking Mansion, just avoid it at all cost. Dirty, smelly, and really feel like you’re in a refugee camp instead of on a holiday.

Location is really good. Right next to Tsin Sha Tsui station and very accessible since stores and eating place are near. The room is clean, towels are clean too. The guy who is in charge is very nice since he let us leave our baggage even though we already checked out so we could roam around while waiting for our schedule in the ferry trip. The downfall is the heater seems to stop working in a certain time. And the private bathroom in our room is not a door but it's like a shower curtain so it doesn't close completely. And also the queue in the elevator is somehow time consuming.
