Do not book this hotel! I showed up at about 9:30pm after booking and paying online, only to be told that the price had been doubled and I’d have to pay the difference if I wanted the room. I tried to be reasonable and said I’d pay half the difference, but that wasn’t enough. Ended up without a hotel at nighttime for my first night in a foreign country. Total scam, luckily Agoda were decent enough to help me out getting another place. Don’t fall for it!!!

Absolutely horrible experience. We spent a two hours knocking on the door, calling the owner with a full voice mailbox, and waiting in a McDonald’s before someone came to let us in. When they met us, they said there were no rooms (even after I paid). They took us to another building in a different neighborhood 20mins away. The rooms were disgusting, could only fit 1 person (I booked for two) so we separated rooms. No Ac, just fan, super humid, cockroach, looks like it’s in the middle or renovation. No toilet paper. Absolutely filthy . horrible customer service, who did not pick up the phone the next morning. No email communication the entire time about their problems, or even to give us the door code to get in. This place should be shut down immediately.

Maybe we had bad luck. After one night we asked to change room because of some malfunction (no water on tap, bad smoke smell, moistened ceiling, paint falling from ceiling). Next room had directly paint falling on the pillow. OK it's cheap and we assume the room may not be perfect, but not at this point. And hotel has a no refund policy. And don't expect to have the same bed furniture than on the pictures. Rooms needs maintenance then they will be great.

Basic accommodation. If you're looking for a cheap & convenient room, this is the place. No frills! We thought it was the Toronto Holidays (and it is!) but it's also the "Temple Street" Hotel, which has "hourly" rates, if that says anything about the type of clientele that visit this place. It was fine for one night, wouldn't recommend staying multiple nights here. Staff were nice and answered the phone and helped us locate the place when we arrived at 12 am! Directions were a bit off since we looked up Toronto Holidays, and not "Temple Street."

Hygiene Management of the Highest Order..! Very thorough and positive team work by the following: - Kamal (5 x Location Manager), Manie (Administrative Manager) and Sapna (room cleaning service lady) carried out a deep disinfection clean of all rooms on the 13th floor to the point that you would feel more than comfortable eating a meal from the floor..! Overall would recommend the Toronto Group Hotels as they deliver a value for money good night’s rest in an authentic Hong Kong district that is conveniently located to meet the needs of their more than well supported guests.
