This is a great place to stay in Barcelona. Safe streets, access to a wonderful shopping mall and close to all the sites. Walking distance to La Rambla. The staff at this Costanza were SO nice and helpful. Even got an early check in at 0900 that really makes a difference when you've been traveling. Morning breakfast buffet is included and the selections and variety are unsurpassed

The front desk staff was great and accommodating. Angel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing while waiting for our room to be ready. He was always pleasant answering our questions and was very helpful overall. Will stay there again. This was our second visit in six years and the hotel has been well maintained.

The room is not soundproof in all aspects! From the walls to the windows, and especially the room door! I could hear people talking in their rooms, and hear people talking, laughing and coughing very very clearly in the hallway! I don’t understand how a so-called 4 star hotel would use such poor quality doors! And don’t even mention the noise from the street. I was woken up several times during the night. Then in the morning, I could hear the staff cleaning the room next door, moving the chairs, pounding the wall, very very loud!! And the vacuum hit our room door a few times!! Unbelievable!!

Two main issues with this hotel, beds were very firm to the point of us both aching the next day and secondly the cleaners are very noisy from 8am onwards for several hours. Shouting to each other, slamming doors, moving furniture. The point of a good hotel is relaxing sleep and quiet. The hotel itself is very nice and modern and well designed, apart from the rooms which have a glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom so if you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and turn on the light, it wakes the over person up. Reception staff were very attentive, nice outdoor pool on the roof which was busy as you’d expect and the hotel had good transport links (metro,bus,tram) and is right next to a big shopping centre.
