Maybe I booked the mini room, so space was tight but well furnished and provided many little things that a traveller needs. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Very close by to MRT and on the red line, easy to go directly to Taipei main station to get to airport. Safe area too. Near to high school.

Stay here at your own risk. While cheap and in an excellent location, the room had horrible ventilation which led to everything we owned being damp and wet, as well as suspected black mold growing on the walls. Even with the dehumidifier running 24/7, the entire room was damp the whole time we were there.

We are immensely grateful to the Taiwan Tourism Board for giving us the opportunity to participate and win in the Taiwan The Lucky Land campaign. As part of the campaign, we received accommodation vouchers that could be used at selected participating hotels and restaurants. This cafe hotel happened to be one of the participating establishments, so we decided to visit for breakfast. Despite its small size, we were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding quality of the food. We ordered five mains, and each dish was simply delicious. The elderly and young members of our group were particularly delighted with the experience. The cafe also offered a variety of specialty drinks, including black sugar coffee, osmanthus latte, hojica latte, and hojica cheesecake, which added a delightful touch to our breakfast. Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the Taiwan Tourism Board for providing us with this amazing opportunity. We are truly grateful for their support and for making our visit to the cafe and use of the accommodation vouchers possible.

5/5 for cleanliness 5/5 for room design and providing necessities such as toothbrush, hair dryer and slippers in the room 5/5 for check in process 5/5 for location - Da’an station Exit 1 (two minute walk). Safe to walk at night since it’s not deep down in the alley. 5/5 for shower 4/5 for insects in the room! Had a big moth flying around above my bunk bed and one or two mosquitoes
