The room is nice and clean. Location is good but lots of random constructions nearby. I thought the service could be more helpful when there are 4 staff standing at the front desk chatting (without other guests) and they won't help the guest to open the door or help with luggage. I called the front desk a while ago and noticed whoever picked up the phone (a female staff) seemed to be a bit rude and wo much patient. Customer service needs improvement.

Stayed here for my 4 day isolation in Taiwan. It is a wonderful hotel. Rooms are large and have floor to ceiling windows. One of the windows opened for ventilation. Beds were comfortable. There’s a spot behind the bed that’s a good size for yoga. Meals are delicious. The hotel surprised us with an afternoon tea, which was fun. Bathroom has a shower and soaking tub with tv. Fridge, kettle, fancy espresso maker, and microwave are also in the room. Only two issues: lights randomly turned on in the middle of the night and the emergency exit light was very bright, but nothing a sleep mask didn’t fix. Overall would highly recommend.

Pros - Close to the train station - Walkable to a lot of restaurant, minimarts, and bar - Easy area to hail a cab or book an Uber - Room is large - Restroom is spacious and shampoo/bodywash smell nice - There is a USA outlet actually in the restroom (hard to find in Asian countries) - The bidet is very nice. Automatic seat warmer, opener, and flush option. - The TV has decent channels, including HBO Max. - Hotel has a desk, safety deposit box, big screen TV, mini fridge, and microwave. Also, there is a pocket door that can separate the bedroom/restroom from the sitting area/desk. - Restroom has a rainshower and whirlpool tub. - Bedsheets are soft. - Relatively quiet. Cons - No door greeter. Expect to bring in your own bags and open your own door each time. - The single elevator can be slow. I recommend booking on the 2nd floor and expect to use the stairs. - The internet is spotty. It will not work all the time. - The room has a smell to it. After a complaint, they provided an air purifier, which did not seem to cure the smell. - The room does not have a heater! After a complaint, they confirmed that it did not have a heater and provided a portable heater. Although the room was spacious, my butt was in front of the heater most of the time. (It gets really cold in Taiwan so why this place does not have a heater is beyond me). - Like most hotels in Asia, the lighting in the restroom is very dim.

I had a very pleasant quarantine experience here. The room is clean, bed is big and comfy, and most importantly the toilet is clean and comes with a bathtub! Daily necessities provided was in fact more than enough for my duration of stay here. Food was also yummy, portion is very big, I'm very well fed for my 10 days of stay. Staff were very helpful and courteous and reply was prompt whenever I had a query or I needed help. Thank you so much, will definitely be back to stay if I ever travel again.

Stayed during the quarantine. First impression is how spacious and beautiful the bathroom is. The room is very clean and the hotel provided all the essentials you need during period of your stay . The staff are very professional and nice. They really try to accommodate your needs to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. I must say the meals and afternoon snacks are absolutely amazing! You get way more than you paid for. My only complaint is the sink design. Water will spill all over the place if not turn off completely. Other than this small flaw I would highly recommend this place to stay when you come to Taiwan!
