I was originally discouraged by the poor reviews but have since been pleasantly surprised. I had the aircon room which cost 500 baht a night. It has all the basics you would expect for the price. The shower is hot, and the pressure is ok. Rooms are cleaned upon request. Our experience with the owners was also positive. We ended up extending our stay here several times. The location is good. There could be some noise from local clubs at night, but it did not affect my sleep. Overall, I would stay here again. It's a simple budget room that is a good base for exploring the rest of the city. They also offer tours here.

VERY disappointed with this stay!! I hardly ever write reviews but this time it’s necessary. We checked in and my partner and I were both ill with fevers. The room itself was very basic which is fine. What was NOT fine was the amount of COCKROACHES in the bathroom. The bathroom was covered in a layer of water when we got there and after a few hours I walked into cockroaches swimming in the water and running in and out of the holes in the wall. I called the lady at the front desk immediately because my partner and I were in no state to be dealing with this. The lady came and continued to say that this has never happened before. She was very kind and proceeded to kill some of them; however, we asked to change rooms and she said it was not possible. She left us the cockroach killing spray and told us to kill them if we saw more. That night there were MANY more in the bathroom. We were already sick and could not deal with this hassle. We ended up checking out in the morning one day early and the owner has not given us a refund for our first terrible night or the night we paid for when we didn’t stay. Very unfortunate and disappointing experience.

Avoid this place. You can get cheap places at neighboring properties with better treatment. I had a confirmed reservation on a booking site and presented upon arrival. After not being able to find my reservation number, he remembered he CANCELED it. I asked why, to which he replied because someone showed up earlier and was ready to pay for the room. Of course I was in shock someone would such a thing to a reservation. That is the purpose of a reservation! After letting him know how unscrupulous this was, he started yelling at me and told me to get out. After a few more words, I started to gather my things and documents. This wasn't fast enough for him and he shoved me three as I walked to the street. Then he tells the booking company a complete lie why I was denied my room. This family shouldn't be in this business.

The hotel is very cheap so I don't have any problem with the rooms. But the service is terrible, the women at the front desk keeps shouting at all the customers. We called in before our stay to confirm whether we can check out late night and she confirmed that we can. But when we arrived and called she was angry about why we are checking in at night. I explained that we already called ahead and confirmed with you because our bus would arrive late. She said she is coming but then left us waiting for almost 30 mins and we had to call again. Again she started shouting and complaining but somehow can outside (she was in one of the hotel rooms not anywhere far and still not coming down). Then she argued more with us and made us wait another 30 mins before finally giving us the keys. And during checkout while we were waiting for our taxi to arrive we saw her shouting and being rude to every single customer that arrive. This place doesn't know anything about customer service. I am never staying here again.
