Great place to stay in the centre of the city. Staff were very friendly, well appointed room with all you need and decent breakfast selection. The area looks a little sketchy around the hotel but nil issues encountered. Would use again.

Nice room, clean with comfy bed. The bathroom is small with glass door. So not much privacy. The hotel is so close to the national museum. The breakfast was not impressive. My recommendation is to try one of the Middle East restaurants around the place they serve a perfect breakfast. The view from the roof is breath taking, seeing the city and ancient history. But unfortunately couldn’t find a proper meal without alcohol on the top restaurant and this when I wondered around the hotel and found many nice restaurants

I had the pleasure of staying at Novotel in Athens and cannot recommend them enough. Georgios is a fantastic General Manager who provided a fantastic level of customer service and the team supported the conference I attended with the highest level of care. The rooms were clean, breakfast filling and delicious and rooms had all the comfort required and the beds were extremely comfortable too. Highly recommended and thank you for your hospitality!

Overall the room was fine and the price point was very keen, but there were a few factors which mean I probably wouldn't stay here again. The location is not the best, unfortunately. Whilst it's a very short walk to Omonia metro, the walk is via a part of Athens that is a bit 'edgy' to be polite. That in itself i wouldn't really hold against the hotel but there were a few things wrong with the room as well. I needed to be able to charge my electric toothbrush and the shaver socket in the bathroom was broken. As well as this the air conditioning did not seem to be working very well and it was very hot at night making it difficult to sleep. Lastly I opted to have a coffee in the lobby one morning and whilst I appreciate prices will be higher at a hotel, the cost was more than 3 times what you would pay on the street in Athens - in fact it was higher than i would expect to pay at a very expensive coffee shop in Dublin.

The room rates are wonderful, the neighbourhood has a very unsafe feeling, but I walked around successfully and easily - close to KTEL Liosion Bus Terminal and Larissa Metro station, and I always walked to the acropolis along a direct route. The rooms were comfortable with ALL little sustainable touches like the shampoos, kettle, tea. Amazing breakfast is available for extra charge, and staff went over and beyond what they likely usually do. Front desk let me in early, and when the GORGEOUS rooftop was closed (I have enjoyed it on two other trips in the last ten years), the opened it for me and the kind staff helped me by taking pictures of the amazing backdrop of the acropolis lit at night. I love it here and can live with the outside of the place. Taxis are available right at the front door, but it’s expensive to travel to the airport from this hotel, and this trip, since it’s my third trip to Athens now, I took the metro quite easiy. It takes about an hour, and the fourth to last stop, this time, the train stopped, and I had to get out with the other passengers and wait for a train that went all the way. That added another 20-30 minutes to the commute which I hadn’t budgeted for. It all turned out great!
