We had a great stay! Location is top, it's a historical building that was renovated very nicely. Studio flats are furnished nicely, excellent beds and pillows (we slept perfectly!). There are some welcome treats as well. Washing facilities and free lockers, all very digital and easy. The kitchen was equipped okay (no bottle opener). All in all, fully recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay here during my one-week work trip to Berlin from the US. I specifically wanted to find a place that was clean, centrally located, and that had a small kitchen. This Numa location met all my needs, and my budget, and I would definitely go back. I especially loved that it was a two-minute walk from the metro, and walking distance from many of the museums, historic sites, and restaurants. It is definitely more of an apartment or apart-tel—don’t expect a hotel, with a front-desk attendant! I didn’t mind that my room faced into the courtyard; I preferred that to facing the street, where there is even less privacy. I appreciated the complimentary teas, bottled water, and beer that was there when I arrived. Check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. One small thing is that I was puzzled by the glass door that only covered half the shower; perhaps it was too modern for me! A funny mishap that happened was that someone tripped the fire alarm while cooking, and we had to evacuate the building while the firefighters came to investigate. Thankfully, everyone was okay!

We were pleasantly surprised at the room we stayed in. It was spaceous, immaculate, and well equipped. We had some cute little gifts waiting for us like complimentary drinks, chips, and free ice cream at an ice cream shop. Even ear plugs! That being said, it is definitely overpriced for being a self-serve hotel. Everything was relatively easy to find, but I just think it should be priced about €100 less than competing hotels. Especially since the response time on whatsapp from staff would be about an hour delayed. We had issues with the people next to us smoking which was not nice since there's no AC in the rooms and it gets quite hot. Opening the windows was not an option due to smoke entering our room. That definitely soured the experience but it was handled. Overall good experience but needs to be cheaper.
