We loved our stay here! The staff were accommodating, especially Jo! There is construction area but it did not affect us at all. The suite is worth every bit of what you pay. We walked to town each day with easy trail access right outside. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Oaks Shores for a memorable experience!

Looks nothing like photos. Construction site no warning when booking it. Staff were mixed some great some terrible . No room service or laundry facilities. Beautiful location but would not recommend for holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Oaks Shores Resort. We had a 2 bedroom suite for 4 nights and loved the newly refurbished rooms. It was awesome! I loved the undermount LED lighting in the bathrooms. Everyone was so nice! Even our kids said that they thought people were just genuinely nice there. David drove us to and from town quite a number of times and we enjoyed the conversations with him. Yes the place is under construction, but the new rooms are amazing and when it is all done I’m sure it will be beautiful. They have many rooms with unobstructed views. The garage is a bit tight, but I was careful in our SUV and was able to manage just fine. Always had a parking spot too. It is a bit of a walk to town - about 25 minutes. But it is on a trail right next to the lake. They have shuttles that take you to town on the hour from 4-9pm. An Uber from town to the hotel is about $5. We hope we can return someday! Thanks for your wonderful hospitality!

WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. ADMIN WAS NOT CLIENT FRIENDLY. Very dissappointing. We stayed for 2 nights on the newly renovated block 2. Since it was newly renovated, the room smelled paint, which made us dizzy. The guy manager that night said that all rooms were freshly painted since it was newly renovated and there is nothing we can do. We asked for a refund but the manager that night refuses and won't give us a refund for we want to change hotel. Also, if the rooms were new, then why is there bird poop along the terrace. Did no one clean it before we checked in?? Why did they let them use the rooms even if there is still the smell of paint??
