Lovely hotel in the heart of Istanbul!!! My and my partner staid there for 4 nights. The hotel is perfectly located (3 mins waking from Taksim square) in an area that is not as crowded as others in there. Around the hotel is plenty of bars, restaurants and shops of any type. The room was perfect ! Very cleaned, very spacious and with everything you need. All the staff was very nice and helped us on any request suggesting as well some places to go and to eat. Really recommended!

very happy with the hotel, in my opinion everything is excellent, both the rooms and the breakfast, which was all delicious and there was a great variety, the treatment was very pleasant, all the workers speak English and some a little Spanish, the only drawback is the wifi since I was traveling with a slightly older friend and she was constantly disconnected and couldn't access it again so it was a bit annoying. Sema our cleaner deserves our gratitude. I would definitely visit the hotel again.

The hotel has been fantastic, the service is magnificent, I highly recommend the restaurant for its good prices and pleasant service. The menu is in Spanish, Turkish and English and if you are staying you have a 20 percent discount. The only problem in my opinion is the Wi-Fi since once connected with your email name and the password that they give you at reception, the Wi-Fi is constantly disconnected and it can be very uncomfortable to reconnect for people who do not understand the technology well. I could connect it easily on my mobile phone but it was impossible on my laptop. Otherwise I totally recommend going to this hotel and without a doubt I would return. In addition, the cleaning service is the best(SEMA) and she is very kind My stay lasted 7 nights

I stayed four nights at occidental taskim by barcelo. Location of this hotel is very good it is close to everything. The customer service was superb. Breakfast was the best and that is one of the highlight of my stay i was given top noch breakfast everyday. My checkin was smooth. However when i checked in for some reason i dont know why i was given smok room, even though i reserve city view with non smoking room. The room 101 was full of smoke smell because its was joint room and person next to my room was chain smoker and loud. The room was not quiet at all even i can hear next door couple having sex and snoring at night time with normal traffic noise out side. After two nights of inhaling smoke and moan from couple next door i complain this to the hotel management and they fix the issue right away. The was given superb customer service by Esma and Fettoh they fix the issue right away and gave me non smoking quite room on the 7th floor which i truly appreciated. The Hotel lobby is very beautiful and pool is amazing with hot tub. However rooms are bit outdated and the tv is about 32inch which i found is very small for the room. Also the tv is 10-12 year old you cannot play Netflix or youtube on this tv. The bed in the room was very comfortable and room service was great. My overall stay was fantastic… this hotel customer service is next level and i was greeted daily by the staff. Overall it was good experience I truly enjoyed my stay.

Every thing was top (breakfast, room, location, staff..). We had a great stay for 5 nights. I wanna send special thanks to dear Mrs. Beyza and dear Mr. Eray. They are 2 angels at the reception. So friendly and helpful. Also so many thanks to dear Öznur Ulu in the reservation department. I annoyed her many times with my emails, but I always got a quick response from her and everything was exactly as I wanted. Don't miss to use the Hamam at hotel as well. That was a fantastic experience. I definitely recommend this beautiful hotel with a wonderful team :)
