It was a wonderful hotel. The room was on a high floor with a nice view, and the breakfast was excellent. Above all, the staff were nice. Although my English wasn't very good, they gave me a welcome message in Japanese and called out to me after I left, making me feel at ease. The security was very good and I felt safe when I returned to my room. I would definitely like to stay here again when I travel to Barcelona.

We loved this hotel. Very nice bedding, very accommodating. When we reached at 7 am, they did not have our room ready (totally understandable), so they offered us a space in the lounge, with coffee and juice and pastries. We had time to freshen up and got to tour different rooms and pick which one we could stay in. We went during Christmas time, and the e coronet was very festive. Had a wonderful room that accommodated 3 people and faced the gothic quarter. Really great experience.

This hotel deserves way more than 5 stars! Great location, walking distance to most of Barcelona’s attractions, minutes to public transportation, restaurants, cafes, abd shopping malls. The rooms are spacious and clean and you get complimentary parking if you have a car. The breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of food options. The staff are so professional, friendly, and helpful. From the door man, the cleaning staff, the restaurant staff to the reception staff, all of them are there for the hotel guests. We arrived early at the hotel and we got an upgrade to our room, one of the staff accompanied us to the parking and when we arrived at the room there was a fruit platter with a welcome card waiting for us! Highly recommended and I'll be staying at that hotel every time I visit Barcelona!

Relocated to this hotel. It's adorable, clean, modern and amid the pulse of the city. STAFF Isn't quite welcoming to travel sites like Expedia. In fact, I booked my hotel via American Express who must use Expedia as a partner but nevertheless the woman at the front seemed to think she was doing me a favor by giving me a room with a view of the alley. ENGLISH Some speak English. Menus are in English and Spanish. Room service staff was clean. LOCATION In the heart of the city but the area is sketchy like most of Barcelona in my opinion. As a tourist, you may want to consider this area or E!xample. Train station is directly in front of the hotel. Taxis are available AMENITIES Internet lounge with potato chips Wine Nespresso station Seating Computer DINING Courtyard restaurant Bar In room dining ( only 10 items) Not a lot to choose from. Few vegetarian options Shopping Everywhere you look is shopping. Located directly beside La Rambla where there's tons of shopping. SAFETY Use the safe in your hotel room to store valuables. Hotel is safe. The door man asked me if I had a reservation before he said Hello or opened the door which was pretty rude. Pickpocketing and sketchy folks who stare. I'm a woman. Men make gestures. Stare back and give them the middle finger and they will leave you alone. TRAVEL WISELY Best to invest in a cross body bag placed in front of your body. Highly recommend a neck wallet. Leave your passport and valuables in the safe in your hotel room.

Olivia Plaza is exactly in the heart of the city, I felt so because in walking distance you can find so many shopping malls. The next shop is hardrock cafe. Where you can eat and drink. Evening time is the best time for roaming around on the streets. You can find people dancing, singing and having fun. It's kind of a walking street. You don't see any vehicle on it. The staff is supportive. Overall a good experience. If you wanna see the city this hotel is a good option.
