We stayed here for nearly a week, and can thoroughly recommend it as an excellent choice for accommodation in the centre of Chang Mai. Very helpful and friendly staff, who accommodated a room change for us when we wanted to change rooms halfway through our stay. Excellent choice of breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

Once Upon a Time? More like Once Upon A Time In Hell... My Worst Hotel Experience Explained Below: The room we stayed in did not look like anything like the pictures online. The the a/c unit started leaking water on the second day- they never fixed it even though they said that they would. Later that day we found a huge cockroach in our shower which was absolutely disgusting. The shower was cold which was a total disappointment. In the mornings we were woken up to extremely loud construction noises and loud conversations from the neighbours outside. The TV has Netflix but the volume was so quiet it may as well have been on mute. When I opened the fridge I got a repulsive smell of something rotting- they did not do a good job at cleaning our rooms. I explained my frustrations about our experience with the owner. She apologized and told me that she would refund my money for our last night. I told her that I'd be checking out later that day and my friend would be leaving the next day. Now wait for it- here is the kicker.... I left the hotel and got a text from my friend saying that the hotel staff tried kicking her out of the room because I had "demanded" a refund from them. So I thought they were giving us a complimentary night stay as an apology for our horrible experience- but no, somehow she thought I wanted my money back so they could kick my friend out of the room. Which competent business owner or human for that matter would do such a terrible thing to someone?Why would I want my friend to be kicked out of the room when her flight was the following day? This is not how you treat your guests or anyone for that matter. Because of there complete lack of awareness I wasted an additional hour getting back to the room and giving my friend the 1100 baht that they took from her- I did not want her to have to pay for the room. I left in frustration and they did not seem to care at all. This is not how you treat people, especially your "valued" guests. These people really don't understand anything about the hospitality industry. Please don't make the same mistake I did and come to this hotel. It is by far the worst hotel stay I have ever had l in my life and I would hate for anyone else to have to deal with such demeaning behaviour. 0/5 Stars
