Stayed at this hotel 2x recently. Had 2 different rooms, both rooms were comfortable but the 1st was better with a beautiful painted ceiling which seems original to the building. I had very good breakfast with lots of choice of hot food, pastries , coffees, juices, cakes etc. The location of the hotel is great, close to Roma Termini, the taxi stand is across the street, the HOHO stop is also across the street, little supermarket a few minutes away (PAM) and the hotel is within an easy walk to many great Rome sights. The stand-out for me was the service by the staff especially John and Maria. Both were very kind and helpful each time I spoke to them. At the end of my stay I need assistance and John went above and beyond with the level of service and kindness he showed me to assist. I have stayed in 6 Italian hotels on this trip and the service at Palazzo Caruso really made this hotel stand out for me. It's really nice when the staff provide such a high quality of service. Once again thank you John.

Palazzo Caruso is the perfect base for a stay in Rome. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated to enhance the character of the property, with modern bathrooms and homely touches. We were so well looked after by the kind and helpful staff who ensured we had everything we needed and were great with our teenage boys. Delicious breakfasts on the roof terrace, while admiring the view were a great start to our days of sightseeing. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the major attractions. We hope to return one day!

Service was amazing overall ! Breakfast was a highlight! Super talented & friendly chef… he made the best homemade cakes and cappuccino. Highly recommended this hotel and we will definitely book again when in Rome.

Palazzo Caruso is a fantastic place to stay in Rome. Location is smart with metro next door, rooms are nice, breakfast terrace on the rooftop is good start for the day. But above all, the genuinely friendly, professional, wonderful service of the people at reception crowns it all! They will go far and beyond like nothing to make your stay smooth and comfortable.

This was my first time staying at a boutique hotel. I had contacted the hotel prior to my stay to arrange airport transfer, and the 3 people I emailed with were super friendly and nice. The review about the ants is true. There were ants. I killed about 10-20 during my 3 day stay. The first woman who checked me in was super nice and friendly. She let us store our bags and carried them to our room when it was ready. The guy at the front desk day 2 of our stay was less friendly. The front desk is not 24 hrs and it’s not by the entrance to the hotel like the picture shows.
