We arrived at Venice after dealing with airport problems for hours and all of us had happily looked forward to resting at our hotel before going out and exploring. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. The room itself, however, leaves much to be desired. The beds were very hard and the room just looked old and musty. In actuality, it was quite clean but the interior just made it feel dirty. The bathroom is also a little dated, but it got the job done. Our air conditioning was broken on the first day and the summer heat was certainly not helping. We decided to open the windows because Venice at night has a good temperature. However, all four of us woke up the next day with MULTIPLE bug bites (Note: I have been bitten by many bugs in my life but never have I ever had bug bites that healed to look like giant bruises. It has been nearly a month since our stay and I still have multiple visible dark spots). Thankfully, the AC was fixed by the next day and the second night was more bearable. The location itself is very nice; most of the key locations in Venice are easily within walking distance and there is a water bus stop pretty close too.

Very nice hotel for what you pay for, staff is SO NICE the older male in the reception desk is so nice. The breakfast is good however they should give more servings of bread but the coffee is amazing! Also for the people who said there was bed bugs because they were waking up at morning with bites, think again cause me and my family thought that as well and were freaked out but we soon realized that there is NO bed bugs because the bitten parts were from exposed areas outside of the covers and that the bites are actually from flys when you keep the bathroom window and/or room window open too long and sleep with it open. So be careful sleeping with windows open in summer and thankfully there is no bed bugs. Location is very good and the staff is extremely friendly. I’m 5’10 as of right now and ab 5’11 with slides on so when I was showering the shower head was short for me but other than that I would definitely reccomend someone to stay here mainly because of the free breakfast !

It’s like staying in a hostel. If you crave reminiscing your college broke travel days, this place is for you. Wait, I know hostels that are better than this “hotel”. The mattress is super old and you feel the wood slats underneath. There’s no ventilation other than opening the balcony doors which then allows all the mosquitos to have a feast. The covers have been there since Marco Polo returned from China. The bathroom was dirty and had left over hair from previous guests. Don’t use the bathtub! Ah and the pillows, lol they are flat as a Venetian pizza and has hard on their gondolas. I haven’t checked my body yet, but will be inspecting for bed bugs soon. Your audience is the entire hotel because its walls are hallow so make sure you whisper. Don’t bother returning to your room at night. You won’t be able to sleep anyway so just enjoy Venice nightlife outdoors.

Wow what a Shock. This is not a Hotel but a Dump. Bathrooms have blalck mold In it. The place smells bad. The Rooms are small and looks like something out of a Horror Film. The man working on evening should not work with People, and is doing more damage to the already rundown "Hostel". Would not recommend At All. The Photos was staged and does not reflect the real Truth of the Hotel.

This hotel is the worst ive ever stayed in as our plane was delayed we had difficulty finding it when we did arrive at about 12/12.30 am we were told had we been any longer then we would have to had stayed on them street once in our room's we found dirty bed linen curtain rail hanging off the wall very very hard beds. This hotel says there is a mini bar not that i wanted to use the drink but im a type 1 insulin diabetic so needed somewhere cold to store my insulin low and behold there wasn't one there was no tea/coffee facility either. The noise from other people was disgusting u could hear the person in the next room having a pee. After 2 hours sleep we all expected to enjoy a good breakfast and a cup of coffee, the coffee machine (yes coffee machine)wasn't working that had just about pushed me over the top i had to get out and find a decent hotel and i found one which is (as im still here)amazing stunning views. Anyway this was supposed to be such a lovely time as id payed for myself and my partner and my best friends to celebrate her 60th birthday thank god i did find somewhere now we can enjoy her birthday
