I was hesistant with the hotel being 2* but we got a good deal on the price. This hotel was far better than what I expected. It's in a fantastic location. Central to everything. The staff were all excellent. They let us use 2 adapters as we forgot ours. They give us extra pillows when asked. They were great every day. The breakfast although is small has plenty of variety and enough, the dining room was lovely and small well decorated always clean and tidy. This hotel deserves more than 2* that's for sure. The cleaners were always friendly and the rooms were always immaculate. I didn't like handing the key in every time we left the room but the key had I can only describe as a door stopper on the end. This is the only downside I found and the lots of steps with your luggage but you expect that in venice. I would recommend this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and thank you for having us.

The room was very spacious and had view on either side of the room, although it was of other roof tops and buildings. Air conditioned well. Shower wasn't great but did work. Concierge service was fantastic and what made our stay enjoyable. Breakfast and service was also fabulous and great selection. Downfall is no lift and we had heavy suitcases to carry up to top room. If looking to stay and struggle with stairs request a lower floored room. We were 5 mins from St Marks Square which is beautiful and 5 mins from water taxi to train station. Walking from train station took 30-40 minutes. Wouldn't advise to walk from train station due to lots of bridges with only steps for access.

What a great hotel!!! First of all: location, location, location. It’s steps away from both the piazza san marco AND the rialto bridge. There are restaurants everywhere and a little store downstairs where you can get water and snacks. The staff is the absolute BEST! So friendly and knowledgeable. Massimiliano might be the nicest front desk/concierge I’ve ever met. Very through explanation, tips and very accommodating with our requests. The rooms are cozy and clean, and you’ll get a view! The water pressure in the shower is out of this world. We had a pleasant stay. Ps: when booking, please remember this is a hotel in “historic downtown” Venice, so the building is old and the walls are thin.
