Stayed in a studio room (booked 2 adults 1 child) - booked cot bed but wasn't available until day 2 ( we bought our own travel cot just incase) - we used quilt for my son for comfort we didn't bring the mattress the quilt was a little stained. - our beds was clean and made everyday by hotel maid - room was clean and kitchen area was clean. - kettle, microwave, hob, fridge was in all working order for our full stay -furniture was abit old could done with replacing or a coat of paint. -carpet was clean. -bathroom was clean on arrival and was cleaned by hotel maid. - the bathroom did have ants on floor but didn't really bother us. -shower water heat couldn't be controlled to right temperature unless fine with having a shower with less water that was walm. -staff was allways friendly. -morning breakfast was nice but was limited on choice as same things was out every morning. -breakfast wasn't in the hotel it was around corner in different hotel with same name.. Over all our stay was great just need some slight improvement that I have mentioned about above. Thanks for letting us stay would deffo stay again

Terrible accomodation. Was extremely hot in Paris no air con . We slept under wet towels . Had to ask for towels . Windows has no bars and faced street and on ground level . Didn’t know if anyone would climb in overnight . Bathroom so tight that if were a really big person you wouldn’t even be able to sit on the toilet between wall and shower . Staff appeared disinterested and there was no real greeting at all . The only thing good was the location .

We did not have a good experience since we paid for a room that we didn't get (Superior Twin Room, got a sofa bed). When we asked the reception about this they said they didn't have any other room available. When we asked for a refund of the price difference, since we had seen online that they cost different and we booked something we weren't getting, they refused saying that hotels in Paris were expensive, almost 200 euros, and said his boss (to whom this person spoke for less than 10 seconds) refused to give a refund. We also were told to "ask tomorrow" for a change of room but he couldn't be sure if there was going to be any availability, Of course, this man could know that by looking at the bookings, but didn't do so. We were also told that they didn’t have two of their floors available, so this could have led to an availability problem (which the guests are not guilty of). I also have to say that while the reception man was talking to me before we went to check our room, another guests who I assume were of the same nationality as him because of their shared language, started to ask him questions constantly, and this hotel employee answered all everything even though he was talking to us beforehand, making us wait when he only had to tell us when breakfast time was and where the lift was. Also, maybe this was just a coincidence, but we saw one of these guests give the man in the reception a pack of 10 Marlboro boxes as a gift. After this, we went to our room and saw that it was not the one be booked, and received all the answers/excuses we wrote before with no solution… The rooms are old, the carpets dirty so bring some slippers, although general cleaning was OK. However, we were staying during New Years, and the 31st of December when we got to the Hotel and being away the whole day, our room had not been cleaned. We realized this was why the day before we had gotten two supplies of shampoo and soap. It is not possible in a hotel to have a day, and without being told beforehand, that your room will NOT be cleaned, when you are paying for it already. About the noise, you cannot hear the people in the rooms next to you, but you can clearly hear every sound in the hallway. Although this was not a problem at first, there were some guests who talked very loudly and even left their door open, so we could not sleep. In the end, we have to go ourselves to ask them to CLOSE their own door because we could hear everything they were saying. Also for people in wheelchair, note that the lift stops in between the floors, so you still have to go upstairs or downstairs to reach your room, so the only available option would be a room in ground floor. Lastly, when paying the daily tourist tax, we didn’t receive any receipt and the receptionist didn’t even try to give us our two cents change. It is not about the cents but about the attention received and attitude, since we have always been given a receipt at other hotels when there were charges like this. All in all, even though the hotel is cheap and in a good location, they don't keep their word about the bookings made so I cannot recommend them. Besides, as I suppose the only response we will receive based on the other negative reviews is a copy pasted text in French, the hotel does not address any of the problems stated by the other guests so one can only assume they are not interested in improving their service.
