Very basic hotel, quite clean. Old decor, shower is very small and the room did smell of smoke. The room has air conditioning and a balcony. Hotel staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The location isn't ideal especially for a solo female traveler. Closest square is Monastiraki which is a good 20-25 minutes away. Price is reasonable.

We came to Athens for a short city break, so we were looking for accommodation that was close to the centre and not too expensive. The hotel was good value for money, the room was small, but for such a short stay - when you just go home to sleep - it was fine. The problem was with the area, huge rubbish, dirt, just bad faces, scary people, druggies. It was such a bad neighbourhood that we didn't even go downstairs at night. Otherwise, I recommend it to everyone, but be prepared that you might not dare to walk down the street.

If you are a fan of cockroaches, insects and a dirty environment, you should choose this hotel. I booked for four days and got out on the second night and couldn't continue the stay

Good service, people at the frontdesk were nice. The lady in the kitchen was rude because i wanted to take the coffee mug outside and when i tried to talk to her, she just put on her headphones and ignored me. The rooms are small, old furniture, but cozy. Unfortunately we had mold on the ceiling. Bathroom had a small shower and the toilet reservoir wasn't flushing well. All in all, comparing position and breakfast with price, it's good.
