The hotel was generally great. The location was unbelievable. However, some parts of the room needed urgent renovation—broken curtains, dirty wallpapers, and damaged bathroom doors or wardrobes. Yet, these issues seem minor when considering the exceptional staff. They were truly unbelievable. Without them, the review would likely be less favorable. The staff made the stay truly enjoyable with their helpful and pleasant demeanor. A perfect 10 for all of them, from the receptionists to the breakfast waiters. They are the highlight of the hotel.

As always, welcoming. Your Waitress at breakfast, whom we have known for about ten years is always helpful and very efficient. Our room 409 and our son's room 405 are both extremely comfortable, but begin to show wear and tear. always left clean and tidy by the room maid. Is our daughters room at the top of the hotel under the roof really a classic superior room? no bath or view from the window! We look forward to returning next December . Happy Christmas RF Ashby

This is our second stay at this hotel which is perfectly placed in a quiet location but not far from all the main areas, lots of bars and restaurants and the boat transport links - lovely clean comfortable rooms, shower wasn't working properly for a couple of days but that got sorted quickly after it was reported. Annoying to get a discount voucher AFTER I had booked and that I was unable to use. We will stay again at this hotel
