This location is by the Spanish steps and in a perfect location. The cookies were a nice surprise on the first day! We forgot to bring our own wash clothes (which we know sometimes aren’t in rooms in Europe), but everything else was in good form. Clean, a nice shower, comfortable bed, large bathroom. The towels were changed out each day! Also, the front desk people were always so pleasant and helpful! We would stay here again.

Sad but true. The hotel photographs a lot nicer than the hotel itself and thats the only good part When we checked-in both lift to lobby and lift to room wasn't working and the receptionist had to assist us in carrying our own bags up the stairs to our room. Now, onto the bathroom. It seems the bathroom is the problem from reading other reviews too and we have the same concern. The grime buildup on tile is so bad and obvious yellowing and mould on the silicon wasn't even replaced. The shower glass above the tub doesn't close properly and water goes straight to the bathroom floor and gets completely wet without a drain outside the bathtub. The tap handles are not even wiped down when we checked in and again after the next day service. Although service is generally friendly there's not service for them to offer. They offered to change us to another room. But he also said the bathroom quality is the same and the room with just the shower is not available till our last night. Next time I’m in Rome, I’m coming back to Sonder as we had a great time. The location was convenient and the service was top quality. The bathroom was very clean and functional. Unfortunately, the design of the shower meant that taking a shower also floods the bathroom floor.
