Absolutely lovely hotel and resort. Staff is very friendly. The breakfast is spectacular and the view on their beach is just amazing. Our room was very clean. We had a problem with air-conditioning the first night it was too warm. The food and drinks are a little bit pricey compared to some of the local market. We were disappointed with the service for drinks on the beach as it often took over a half an hour for our drinks. I don’t think it was the staff themselves being slow, just stretched too thin. Maybe the management should consider hiring additional bartender. Yeah.

We stayed for 4 nights with our 2 year old son and loved it. It was very relaxing and the perfect setting for us. Things we especially liked: - The layout of the resort. There are 2 areas. One by the beach, which has an awesome infinity pool and a restaurant. The other main area has most of the rooms which are arranged in a U shape around a large pool. Being able to change between both was awesome. - The beach. I was a bit sceptical about this point at first. Bang Rak beach is not really known for its beauty and has several ferry piers, so there is some boat traffic. However, the boats are far away on the other side of the beach and the beach itself was really pretty and not crowded at all. Even during high tide there was plenty of beach "left" to hang out on. - The location. Lots of restaurants, bars and other things are within walking distance. - The staff. Everyone was really friendly and professional - The kids room. It's not big but it has lots of toys and stuff in it, which our son really loved. For kids older than 4/5 this is probably not interesting anymore... But with a toddler it was awesome to have this area to spend time in. - A pleasant mix of guests: overall the vibe was rather calm but we never felt out of place as a family with a small kid. Some other families there as well, but the majority hurts are couples of all ages. Things to be aware of - they did not bother us, but might be important for others: - The two areas of the resort are divided by the main road, which can be quite busy. - The gym is small and cannot fit more than 2 people at a time ( for it to still feel comfortable) but has a good set of base equipment. - The rooms are rather small compared to other resorts in Thailand. - There is a beach club right next to the resort. It sometimes plays louder music in the evenings, which can be heard in the resort.

Nice hotel with rooms, pool, spa and reception on one side of the road – and the restaurant, a second (infinity) pool and beach on the other side. Everything is in top shape and guards are present to safely bring guests across the busy road. Breakfast is big and delicious – from Croissant to noodle soup – it’s all there 😉

I and my wife have come on 16th Nov. to stay at Prana Resort for a week. We are leaving on 23rd Nov. The hotel is amazing and location is great. Central Mall and Chaweng beach, food outlets are within 5-6 km range which is quite comfortable. The rooms are clean. Beachside pool is superb with great view. One can enjoy drinks and food at sea side restaurant. We both are pure vegetarian and to our delight, we found many vegetarian dishes in breakfast which is not so common to find with so much vegetarian variety even in other good hotels in Thailand. Reception and restaurant staff are very helpful, friendly and always greet with a smile. We can’t ask for more. Ample parking space available. We are thoroughly enjoying our stay and would highly recommend others to try it out themselves. 😊

My husband and I spent 10 days here over the new year period with our teen daughter and all left feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated. Despite it being busy it never felt crowded. We had an upstairs room overlooking the internal pool which was very peaceful and totally beautiful. Top points: * The aircon is phenomenal and extremely efficient - we set ours icy for instant relief from the heat and restful sleeping. *Staff are all lovely, warm and smiley - every requst was accommodated * The bar / restaurant on the beachfront is perfect for chilling at the end of the day, especially the hammock nests and infinity pool - plus the food is delicious (not to mention the 2-for1 happy hour - defn recommend the strawberry daiquiris and fresh pina coladas! * Excellent location with everything you need at hand, cheap eats (reccomend Noi Friendly two doors down) laundry services, massages, the 7-11, pharmacy etc etc). * Beautiful spacious rooms, the beds are excellent in terms of comfort, especially the quality mattress, feather pillows and crisp white linen) * Very family friendly * Don't miss the breakfast buffet - excellent diverse food, including an omelete / egg chef, continental pastries, breads, crispy bacon, tropical fruit, hot Thai, Asian and Indian choices... you can even mix yourself up a fresh salad in the big wooden salad bowls - and their iced coffees are to die for!
