When my husband received a job offer to work overseas, and we moved from the United States to the Czech Republic, we had to spend the first month in a hotel while looking for housing. I wasn't excited about the idea of living in a hotel, especially since we brought our 100 lb dog with us on the move, along with 6 giant suitcases. But I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one we had at the Quality Hotel in Brno. The front desk staff was always polite and friendly, and they helped with translations and providing assistance with getting around the city. The housekeeping staff was so kind to our dog, and they were great about working around our schedule to clean the room. Since we ate most of our meals at the hotel, we interacted with the restaurant staff frequently, and they were always professional, friendly, and polite (and the food was delicious!). I was also very impressed with the General Manager, Petr, and the Front Office Manager, Jirka, who both went out of their way to accommodate us and our dog, even going above and beyond to help us with storing oversized items that wouldn't fit in the room and arranging transportation when we moved from the hotel into our house. I am truly grateful for the amazing staff at the Quality Hotel Brno Exhibition Centre, and I would absolutely recommend this location if you're looking for a comfortable hotel in a relaxed environment with excellent staff.

Good value for money hotel. Not newly furbished but clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. The restaurant was quity pricy to the value we got.

The hotel itself is nice, taking into account the prices, but I really don't like the way they are handling payments. On arrival, an amount larger than total price of the stay was blocked on my bank account (by the means of card pre-authorisation). The receptionist said that it was a hotel policy and that was it. Then, on departure, I had to make a normal payment. The pre-authorisation was lifted after as long as two weeks. I don't like my money being blocked for two weeks with no good reason and that was the case here.

Good for short stays, not so good for 3+ nights We spent a week in Brno and this one seemed to be relatively close to the city centre and had good prices. The Hotel is located next to the big exhibition complex. The historic centre is about 15-20 minutes away by bus and tram (you have to change at the Mendel square) or it's a 45 minute walk with some uphill. Pros: good price, good breakfast, good location Cons: the room was small for 2 people. The bathroom too. It's no problem if you stay for 2-3 days you won"t even notice it. Internet connection was a bit shaky but worked ok most of the time. If you don't like kids here is a disclaimer for you. As of July 2023 there is a huuuge Smurfs exhibition net door so there are lots of families with small children. Overall, if you spend 2-3 days in Brno this hotel is good. If you plan for more you might have to look elsewhere.
