The location is super central located and that's it. A hostel ambiente for expensive prices. When cleanliness is an indicator for you to book a stay, then I do NOT recommend "Quality in Rome". The name is a joke! The pictures on booking & co are very old and obviously from the time of the opening! The furnitures are old, dusty, the walls are full of stains, the bathroom is dirty and dusty with stains on and under the toilet seat as well, calcification everywhere in shower and the sink - so you can clearly see that the rooms haven't seen a proper cleanse for a loooong long time! I was disgusted I cleaned the toilet seat with wet cleaning wipes! The pillows are old and stinky! Under the pillowcase you see the yellow sweat spots on the pillow. Absolutely disgusting! Vacuuming and dry wiping over the surfaces is the only cleanse which takes place between guest changes. This is ridiculous! Absolutely brazen offering paying customers such a condition of rooms under the name "Quality in Rome - luxury guest house". This is more a youth hostel and a pure customer rip off! I am truly wondering how the good recommendations got collected. Believe the negative ones! And let me tell you, I am not a picky person! Proper cleanliness and standard comfort is a what I expect. His reaction to a professional and honest review on booking, which still has been totally understatement to the truth - was unprofessionell, emotional and even RUDE in the end, so here was my detailed review.

Parent& luggage&a10-month baby were denied check-in in the pouring rain. The owner closed the door and asked us to contact Expedia outside the building in the rain. "You didn't book a bed for the baby, the baby can't stay". The mother's heart was broken when the baby was left with a high fever of 40 degrees and vomiting all night. We ran around midnight to buy medicine and booked another hotel. I reported the incident to the police in Rome. The police confirm【 the owner has no right to refuse the stay on the basis of not giving a special reservation for a baby under 3 years old】We should call 112 for the Italian Carabinieri immediately when we were refused. What happened was 1 This was the last hotel of a long trip in Europe. Since the baby had been sleeping in the middle with the parents in a double-bed, he could not sleep alone. We had been booking double-bed rooms in all the hotels and it works. I paid for 3 nights, and I did not see any refusal for the baby during booking. 2 The owner refused the key, even if it was just the mother with the baby, because "the room is dangerous to bring the baby. the room was small& didn't reserve for the baby" 3 The owner continued to put the room up for sale (screenshots evidence) and eventually sold it again &denied the refund to us 4 The baby was sick for a week after getting wet. Don't pick this hotel unless you want to ruin your hard-earned vacation. If you have a problem, always remember to call 112 to protect your family.

My wife and I booked a double-bed room at this hotel for three nights with our infant under one year old. The hotel refused to check in, refused to refund and refused to answer the phone on the grounds that it was not booked specifically for babies. The hotel told me to immediately talk to the booking agent, Expedia, as it was raining heavily in Rome. The baby ended up with a high fever and vomiting all night. Even the police in Rome found the hotel's practices unacceptable. The police told us that in such a situation we should have just called the police instead of doing nothing and letting the child get a high fever in the rain.
