Despite the hotel being old and the rooms needing renovation the location and staff were excellent. We managed to get early check in and late checkout. The view of the bosphorus during breakfast is breathtaking. Service was good and they have a nice outlet near the lobby serving drinks, food and overlooking the bosphorus. New years eve was amazing from the terrace.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and eager to please. Murat did a great job with keeping our room clean everyday, and has a great attitude. Kudos to Hakan, Oğuz, and all of the doormen. Thank you very much. Only complaint we have is in regard to the room. They need to put a chest of drawers in the room. Also, the tub is very difficult to get in and out of, especially for the elderly. Take the tub out and do a walk-in shower.

So many wonderful things to say about this place! Excellent location - the hotel sits right along the river — some rooms get a superb view of the Bosphorus. Drinking Turkish tea while watching the boats glide across the water and listening to the Call to Prayer from the mosque around the corner was absolutely blissful. Next to the mosque (around the corner from the hotel) is an entrance to a ferry that can take you up and down the Bosphorus. We’re talking a 45 second walk from outside the hotel to this ferry … unbeatable! Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby as well. If you’re overwhelmed by the chaos of the Bazaar and Spice Market, stick to the local shops and I’m sure you’ll find something great. Food - Breakfast buffet isn’t included, but I highly recommend dining in the morning. The spread is vast, fresh, and has something to accommodate all dietary restrictions. (I'm vegan and was well-fed here ... no complaints!). The kitchen staff was super friendly and inviting — all smiles and no grumpy chefs. Concierge - Quick, accommodating, and professional. Housekeeping - Some of the friendliest bunch of folks I've interacted with in housekeeping! Always making sure our needs were met and engaged in conversation while passing. Bar - Drinks looked fun and appetizing, but the wait time is a little long. If you have the time to spare, stick around and enjoy a drink — the view from the restaurant is lovely.

The hotel is past it's prime. The rooms are old & we requested twice for cleaning right after check in. Even basic facilities like utilities, kettle, iron stand etc needed replacement. The welcome fruit in the room (a single orange) was dehydrated and maybe 2 weeks old). The room fitting were showing rust & dust. It's location right around the bosphorus is the only plus point. The breakfast was however good & staff there was very friendly.

A big disappointment. 5-star hotel in the touristic beautiful place with such a bad service, absolutely indifferent hotel workers and the worst thing that they made a mistake with our booking and before the apologies they argued with us and lied us about the restaurants overbooking. They didn’t even try to help and find a way to solve the problem which was absolutely on their side (we booked a concrete room and had an email with a confirmation of this exact booking from the hotel manager). So, even that this hotel has a great location and beautiful view I will never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The rooms are also old, the windows were dirty and I had some questions about the bathroom and its cleanliness. The door was also not perfect, just average, without any original taste. I could understand if such service would cost about 100€, but we paid for 1 night about 260€ with breakfast and we didn’t even get what we asked for and what was the most important thing for us (a view to the Bosporus bridge and the bathtub in the room).
