For the price, the rooms were small, well decorated but aging, and the room service was lacking. One of the times we requested service, it never came. Concierge service provider as only useful for airport pickup and drop off. They were not useful for dinner reservations or pickup/drop off services to local attractions. I enjoyed the breakfast, but admit that I relished the convenience of not leaving the hotel to find food. If you are up and about, I’d recommend spending your money elsewhere for breakfast. Wonderful service in the restaurant, but absolutely basic food. I should mention that this hotel may have the best location in the city for sightseeing. That is the major redeeming quality, and why I don’t feel like I overpaid by much.

My experience at this hotel was outstanding from the very first moment I stepped in with my family. It was a planned vacation with our kids and grandma. We loved every single detail of the rooms, beds were so comfortable, bathroom had all we needed. Housekeeping did an amazing job every day they cleaned the rooms. Front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was amazingly good and yummy. Restaurant staff was super polite and offered us an excellent service. I loved this hotel, I loved London. I loved all about it. I can’t wait to be back!!

Definitely not 5 star. Booked for the location however you need to walk across the square to China Town to get a cab as there is no access via the square. The "system" was down during our stay 22 - 25 Sept, in-room information was non existent, the lifts were hit and miss. The system is still down today 10 Oct, as having made my 3rd call to the hotel to get my £200 deposit back I have been told there is a list of people waiting and that accounts are working on it. I find it incredible that a chain such as Radisson don't have the resources to rectify whatever the issue is within 3 weeks or at least have a back up alternative. As the worse case scenario I have been offered a credit note, however that is not acceptable and I actually need my money refunded.

From June 30th to July 4th, 2023, my wife and I stayed at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire Hotel in Leicester Square, London. Despite its portrayal as a five-star establishment, my assessment would not surpass three stars. Our initially assigned room was far from satisfactory—a small, dim space with a window offering a view of a nearby wall, contributing to an overall damp atmosphere due to the lack of sunlight. Promptly expressing our discontent, we requested a room change, and the hotel, to their credit, relocated us to a higher floor with a more pleasing view. The hotel's décor adheres to an Edwardian style, which might be perceived by some as antiquated rather than contemporary. However, our selection of this establishment was primarily influenced by its strategic location, and in that regard, we were content with our decision. The hotel's enviable position provides a vibrant and exciting atmosphere, especially for vacationers. Leicester Square, visible from the front rooms, resembled a lively carnival during our stay, offering a plethora of activities just steps away from the hotel. Numerous restaurants of diverse cuisines are conveniently located within minutes. Even though we had pre-arranged transportation through the Head Concierge, our experience was marred by an unmet pickup at Heathrow airport. Despite having paid for the service in advance, we were left waiting for about thirty minutes after contacting the hotel before the car finally arrived. In conclusion, our overall experience in London was positive, largely due to the hotel's exceptional location. If we were to revisit the city, we would not hesitate to choose this hotel again. Its proximity to renowned landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Regent Street, and Covent Garden adds significant appeal to the overall stay.

This is my first time staying at this hotel, it’s famous for its location being at the center of almost all the tourists best spots. I go almost everywhere around by feet (Covent garden, chinatown, piccadilly circus, and Westminster bridge). The only downfall is that it gets loud outside sometimes because of the bar, but it wasn’t a big problem. Still had a good time, and next time i’ll be staying here too 👍🏻.
