I was really hoping that the pee smell I read in a review was just a one-off and that the hotel management would have ordered a deep cleaning after seeing such a review of their hotel but unfortunately the whole fourth floor reeked of it. I was able to smell it in my room the whole stay (2 nights). Maybe all of the good reviews on this hotel come from guests who did not stay on the fourth floor. I liked the location and the breakfast was good.

Good location and breakfast. They seem to turn off the heat at night (automated, room thermostats are disabled). So bring something warm to sleep in. It's hard to be comfortable when you're shivering, and bring gloves that you can type with if you work from the room in the evenings.

The rooms were standard and quite cozy although like I have read in previous reviews the heating really didn’t seem to be turned on but we were still warm under the duvets so that was nice. The breakfast buffet was okay, not the best i’ve had but bearable. We stayed over Christmas and a few days after during which the restaurant was closed for the entirety of our stay which is understandable but a bit weird as some of the receptionists told us it would be open after Christmas. We were able to have our food warmed by a very kind receptionist who went above and beyond to ensure we were happy guests. Unfortunately one of the female receptionist had the worse attitude i’ve ever come across. We had an issue at check out with our booking/payment and wanted to have it cleared up, instead of being reassured she at some point blamed us for getting disrespectful and even asked if we could deal with the matter a different time until I made it clear that we were leaving the same day. She was so unkind and impatient, it was absolutely horrid behaviour. She began heavily sighing and putting her hands down in her palms while speaking to us as if we were bothering her. She even said to us that she had a queue behind us implying that our issue was basically not worth her time. In the end we figured it out but this individual is in the wrong line of work if she’s unable to show a small bit of patience and understanding.

Fine for a night or two. 👍 We only stayed for one night so it was fine, the bed was comfortable enough and had a good breakfast. 👎 It felt and smelled like an old hotel, no possibility to open a window, parking was complicated. We knew beforehand that we had to pay for parking, but seeing that the lot was under the hotel with elevator leading directly into the lobby / rooms, it was obvious that the parking was built for the hotel. Their decision to make it paid is cheap 🤗 would expect more from "Radisson"
