I recently stayed at the Quality Hotel Hasle Linie in Oslo and loved it. The hotel was modern and very clean, which made my stay comfortable. It's a bit away from the city center, but the nearby metro made it easy to get downtown in just 20 minutes. This convenience added to the overall great experience at the hotel.

Clean and fresh hotel (as of December 2023) but not the best service. Mixed up our reservations at check-in, gave us wrong rooms, took a while to sort it out. Far away from the tourist areas of the city, but can't blame the hotel for that. We knew it when we booked.

I make a reservation and payed for it, and after some days they told me that they overbooked the hotel and my reservation was cancelled. This hotel is like the airlines trying to increase the revenue by overbooking their hotel, charging more to late costumers and cancelling the ones that previously booked. Is really annoying as closer to the date all the other hotels are full or more expensive.

Checkin was ok, staff member wasn’t really welcoming or either friendly. Also the way he talked to other guest wasn’t really nice in my opinion. Room with no view. The room was located with a view to the very close neighbour building. Wasn’t able to leave the black out curtains open, otherwise the workers from the office building could right see into my room. Also, cleanliness in the room was unacceptable. Cobwebs in every corner in the room. Reception staff told me there is no daily housekeeping cleaning by default to environment protection, what is generally fine. But the room should get proper cleaned. Also, half of the bed sheets/ pillow cases were I sight out. Gym was very well equipped and new. Unfortunately you just can use it with an app and you have to register too. What is a little annoying if you stay in this hotel just one time. Breakfast choices was ok and food was good. The staff member are more busy chatting with each other instead of saying at least “hello” or “good morning” to their guests. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel, neither I would stay there again. The design is very nice, modern and new. Conclusion, hardware is fine, software needs to be improved.
