Traveling solo; late night (Fri) , and needed to rest before getting back on the road, I sought lodging here. Apart from being overcharged by check-in lady; sent to a room with broken TV; had to go back downstairs to front desk. Check in lady must have been at end of shift; split. The gentleman assisted me and assigned room across the hall; returned the key to other room that I hadn't touched. I was told Government employees rate was $135; plus $27 to park until checkout in less than 10 hours; charged another $100 for incidentals. I was only there long enough to sleep and shower the next morning (Sat). Once I noticed how much I was charged I called hotel to speak with General manager; unavailable, so I spoke with Margaret the assistant manager that chose to attempt to over talk a.decorated Veteran vice listening to resolve the issue. UNTENABLE AND I HAVE YET TO BE REFUNDED. I have made legal counsel aware of hotel personnel's insolence. HOWEVER, the rest of the staff - apart from check in female and Margaret Assistant manager, made an effort to make my stay more than pleasant. The lady that checked me out has great energy; the other staff I cannot say the same. I was charged almost $300 for an overnight stay.

Leaving one star because I can't leave zero. Paid for 10th floor for my sons birthday, all he wanted for his birthday was to be on the top floor with a view, they gave me 3rd floor over looking a street light and they wouldn't refund any money to cancel and no discount. The room itself is below average and smells weird. Beds are small and holes in the sheets. Don't stay here....EVER

Location is good but that’s about it. There was a balloon floating in our room from previous guest. It was bare bones and semi clean. Lobby and other common areas less so. Breakfast was low grade dog food. Parking lot is for a fee only so street parking if you don’t want to pay. It wasn’t cheap and was absolutely bare bones. Would look for another option for sure. Got to be better in the area.

Check in lady obviously does not enjoy her job! Off to a great start. Rooms were nice size & the pressure from the shower was great... n that's where the positive aspects end. Do they not have housekeeping?! I have a long list of things that weren't done in regards to cleaning! From the dust on everything to the dirty sock under a sofa cushion, to the sticky counter in the kitchen area! If there is any other place to stay when you're in Pitt, I highly recommend you stay there... anywhere but this place!! I mean unless cleanliness isn't your thing...

DO NOT STAY HERE! There’s no way this hotel is owned by Marriott. I’m assuming it’s a franchise based on the quality. We had a large group that booked 3 rooms for New Year’s Eve. The pool was ice cold and super small, the kids couldn’t stay for longer than 10 minutes. We didn’t have any hot water!!! This is unacceptable especially since it was a holiday and we were planning on getting ready at the hotel. No drinking water available, not even a bottle filling station. That seems pretty ridiculous for 2024. For the price I would suggest that you stay at another hotel.
