In my experience this location has poor quality and management. It was listed on booking.com and in my opinion is too low quality to be on there. This is not a good place to stay. Check-in is confusing. They charge you a $3.50 cash-only charge on arrival. No hand soap is provided for the bathroom. Rooms are cold. There's no heat beginning in March. Rooms are stuffy and damp, especially at night. One basic sheet, and old, used blankets are all that is provided for the bed. There is a lot of noise from rooms nearby. It sounds like the person is in your room when they turn on the sink or make any noise. Soundproof windows do almost nothing for this. There are no reasonable kitchen options. Anything kitchen-related is old, worn, and not being used. No kettle is provided as advertised. Wifi is Ok, but that is about it.

cheapest accomodations i could find in Rome, we were pleasantly surprised! by far the cleanest room I've ever stayed in, i struggle with germophobia and usually hostel rooms are the worst for me, but this one felt clinically clean. it's a bit loud due to the thin walls and old structure of the building but we didn't mind as that's what's expected from a room as central as this. the room we stayed in is in slight disrepair but everything works as it should, and like i said it's really clean. bins were emptied daily. the host is an incredibly friendly guy who made us feel welcome from the start, have recommendations for restaurants, drew us a map of all the important sights and even showed us around the block a bit and let me feed his pet turtle (please get a larger enclosure for her). wifi/data only works in one corner of the room and the door to the bathroom doesn't offer much in ways of privacy lmao 100% recommend this if you're looking for a room in central rome. supermercato and snack bar next door, breakfast with amazing coffee down the street

Had a great and peaceful stay in 2018. The host also guided us on various excursions. The bathroom although common, was really clean. Location is very central.

***Avoid this accomodation*** A warning for anyone looking for a positive experience in Rome to keep clear of this place. Staff are incredibly rude and unprofessional. After our flight was delayed due to an air traffic control strike we emailed ahead and told them we will arrive 15 minutes late for our checkin. After trying to ring many times we got no answer. We rushed in taxi from airport We arrived just 9 minutes after our check-in time. When we finally got through on the phone the member of staff laughed at us and told us we should have informed him the flight will be delayed 3 days before (this is clearly impossible as the delay isn't known until you are on the flight) ***Luckily there are great options nearby with very kind staff and I strongly suggest you check these places out!!**

In our 6 days traveling period we were in two guest Houses in Madrid and Barcelona. We were very happy with everything and no complaints at all. This guest house was our last one in Rome as we already leaved, sorry to say that we are very disappointed this time. Let me explain why, -first of all there was very bad smell in the room probably of any chemical. - Second one, there was mold in the wardrobe. -We are muslim and we are from Asia, so it is common in our country to use hand shower after toilet. Fortunately, in our room there was a hand shower but it was in very bad condition. When we were using it, it was licking water on the floor. The disappointed thing was, when we ask for help, the guy was very rude and said we don't know how to use hand shower and before no body used in their house. - the last one is, there is no privacy in the house cause when we were outside to visit some places somebody came to our room. How we understand that? The room was very suffocated and we turned off the heaters of our room at night before sleeping and we checked it off twice before we went out in the afternoon the next day. When we came back in the evening it was still turned off and we went out again. But, when we came back at midnight we saw that the heaters were fully turned on. It was very disgusting and unsecured for us. We didn't complain cause thankfully we didn't have any valuable things with us and didn't lost anything but still it was unsecured. Note: we were told that the cleaning lady will come in morning and we said we don't need the service. Therefore, we woke up in the afternoon. Then, who came at night???
