Excellent, helpful and friendly staff. Tricky to find but actually it's easier the second time. If you will be guided by young men in the street don't pay more than 30 MAD, they might ask for 100 or even 200 MAD. Breakfast is really good to have on the terrass, cash only, they have shuttle service from/to the airport if you prefer. No taxi (normal cars can reach this area of Medina) the place is so calm and authentic.

The place is even more unique because the surroundings are quite shady. In the center of the medina, but the access is extremely twisted and not obvious. Hidden behind a heavy gate, it gives the impression of inaccessibility. Inside, there is an oasis, completely unlike the seedy alleys of the medina. The interior is captivating with its trinkets and trinkets. Great breakfasts served in the courtyard. Coffee kettle with toucan. Discreet and helpful staff, although the local language is strongly preferred. I like to think that I will go back there someday 😜

I really liked it, albeit with some "ifs" and "buts". If you are looking for an ultra-luxury hotel, with a rooftop pool and panoramic views, forget about this Riad and go elsewhere. If, however, you are looking to experience the city in a slightly more immersive way (sometimes even too immersive, for example due to the tunnel of streets that lead to this Riad without signs), you are certainly in the right place. They are available, pay great attention to detail and cleanliness and are relatively cheap. The only really serious flaw: two out of three don't speak English - but we understand each other anyway.
