Room was small but had everything in it. Complete with welcome pack, which was nice. Biscuits, fruit and a selection of tea's. Staff were friendly and happy. Location is good, with parking space reserved for us outside the front. Only thing is, you have to request it before arrival and it's an extra £9! We were in the room beneath the dining room, which has wooden floor, so every time someone dragged their chair to/from the table, it made a terrible noise in our room. We heard a table being dragged, which woke us up. So I suggest you take earplugs. Or maybe hotel could put chair leg pads under each chair and table. The noise made us both jump it was that loud. Town is a taxi ride away

Never being here before. Celebrated my daughters baby shower here. Staff were helpful and very efficient. Lovely afternoon tea,catered for our granddaughter who has to have dairy free.Three of the ladies are pregnant and one was a pespertarian. Did a great job.

I never usually write reviews but I had such a lovely experience that I just had too. Lue at the front desk made me feel so welcome and was more then helpful accommodating after what was an incredibly stressful day for me. Not to mention the room was lovely, cozy and clean. The whole hotel had such a wonderful feel to it and it is clear that the staff genuinely want to help make your stay as easy and relaxing as possible. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone headed to Bristol!

Constant noise in my room all night, as if a fan was running next door. Heavy footsteps overhead in the morning. Cracked sink and chipped bath. Having booked on the website, I was unsure which card I had used. On arrival, I was told I would need to use a physical card or pay cash, "it's our policy for security reasons". I had travelled with my cards on my phone. I think the receptionist expected me to drive back to London or was going to refuse me admittance. Why, in 2023, is using a card on a phone unacceptable? My previous experience of this hotel was better. Don't think I will come back

This hotel for the location and amenities is a very well hidden gem. In the heart of Clifton village everything is within walking distance and if you use the buses they stop right in front of it. The bar is small and limited on draught drinks but there is a nice open garden area guests have behind it with seating and tables. Breakfast is definitely to be recommended unfortunately the main restaurant No 4 isn't open on Sundays so I'll have to try that another time as I will definitely be returning. All the staff are friendly and helpful and give an overall welcoming feeling.
