This is a gem of a hotel in my opinion. No it is not a fancy hotel that is going to have all the amenities and bells and whistles. That said, the cost of the rooms is often affordable, you can frequently get the rooms for 50-60 a night and you're not sleeping with any uninvited pests. The rooms are generally clean and staff is pleasant. The on site restaurant is mediocre and I'd recommend going off site instead. The little shop for drinks/snacks is affordable and not price gouging you even tho it's in the middle of the tourist area. No parking cost, no resort fee like most other places in the area. This is probably going to be the best bang for your buck with cleanliness not being compromised in the process if you're wanting an affordable place to stay for universal studios. They do have shuttles and such to Disney I believe as well. Again it's not the fanciest of places but it feels like a place you can go to get that nostalgic vacation feel both in atmosphere and cost. Definitely recommend if you have reasonable expectations for a hotel that is on the cheaper end.

Loved everything about this place. From the moment I checked in, up until I checked out. Everyone was friendly, everyone was helpful, the room was clean just an all-around great stay. Special Shout-Out to the bartender (Whose name I never got) who was an absolute sweetheart and kept serving everyone their food and drinks at a quick pace despite the bar being pretty full. Heck. That girl might just be the MVP of the hotel.

My stay here started out poorly simply because of the room we were placed in; not the staff's fault, it was on the side closest to the highway and was far too loud for us to sleep soundly. After a restless night, after traveling since 2:30am, housekeeping woke us up knocking on the door until we awoke, something that the was not told to me at check-in. Apparently I needed to put a sign on my door so they would not do this.The staff was very kind and allowed me to switch rooms no problem, however the second room I tried to switch to, the door was broken and there was a bag of clothes left behind by housekeeping from the previous guest. I went to the desk again and was again treated very kindly and allowed to try a third room; this room was better on noise, but the bathroom was dirty and in need of some TLC. I wiped away grim off the toilet and shower and tucked away the black molded shower slip mat and at this point was so tired of moving my belongings that I just stuck it out in this room. Eventually this door broke as well but could be jimmied enough to not have to move rooms. Thankfully, we had no more housekeeping wake up calls, but they did leave behind their dirty cleaning rags on our dresser. I commend the front desk staff/manager on their kindness and flexibility, but was extremely dissatisfied with the level of cleanliness here. I have stayed in plenty of budget hotels; what you pay should reflect amenities not cleanliness in my opinion.

It was ok for what we needed, it’s not the best but certainly not the worst. I’d say it’s a budget friendly choice. Parking was a little hard due to renovations on the roof, but was able to find a spot. Security was great giving advice and tips. Reception was excellent, the pool and surrounding areas are clean. The room was a little outdated but due to to its location to Universal it was top of the places for the price.
