Overall a good stay. Initial check in was a little slow, and I couldn't figure out why because there didn't seem to be much of a line or any issues checking in the few people that were there. The hotel was fine though. I was at a conference, and for some reason the AC wasn't on in one of our conference rooms one day, so that was quite uncomfortable. Maybe there was a good reason for it? My room was in the tower, and I think the tower must have some moisture issues. I often took the stairs, and they were almost always wet. While the tower looks cool because of the design of the inner courtyard, sound carries a lot, both from the neighboring room if it happens to be loud and from people in the courtyard if they start making significant noise. Most of my stay was good, but I was a little disappointed in the room.

The lobby was nice. That is the best I can say about this place. My husband & I booked a "Deluxe King with Garden View" for a quick weekend overnight, walked in the room, almost immediately walked back out, & drove the 2 hours home. The "garden view" was a clump of bushes slightly obscuring the pool. The room itself smelled damp and musty with a thin covering of chlorine and cleaning chemicals. The air filters in the AC unit were so old they were literally falling apart. There was mold growing *inside* the picture frames. Everything was old and gross. I was afraid to lie down on the bed at all. We preferred a 2 hour drive home to waking up with a respiratory infection.

If I could give the rooms negative stars, I would. This place calling themselves a resort is a mockery to resorts. We chose this place due to the connivence of it being so close to Universal for a one night, sleep & shower stay and it wasn’t even worth it. Don’t even bother looking at the pictures online, they couldn’t be any more inaccurate. The rooms have PAPER THIN walls and have connecting doors with a GIANT gap on the bottom. You are essentially sharing a room with strangers. The bathroom did not look clean and toilet/shower hardly worked. Even the shower curtain didn’t even fit the length of the shower! Nothing on the walls, no carpet- a disaster of a room. If we didn’t check in so late or were staying more than a night, we would’ve packed up our stuff and left for another hotel. You are better off staying almost anywhere else but this glorified motel. Staying here would be a mistake if you are trying to feel safe on your vacation.

I'm writing to acknowledge the outstanding client service I received from Nicolas Camacho..from the moment of my late arrival and check in to helping me plan for an early morning departure..in advance...his attention to detail and willingness to accommodate my travel schedule has been great.I had a breakdown in service having my room cleaned. He made sure I had towels and let his supervisor know about this glitch. Overall, the staff has been warm, friendly, and conscientious.

Heres our visit. Truthfully We did a booking with united and got amazing deals on flights/hotel. This hotel is in a great location and has great amenities. But, our room is what let us down... We were placed building 5. There was LOUD beeping every night the bed and pillows were the worst we’ve felt, and the door lets all of the sound in. People yelling, dogs barking, kids screaming. It was rough. If you’re going to stay here, try to get into the Tower, it seems to be better?
