Royal Blue Hotel

We spent a honeymoon at the hotel, we are disappointed and we regret our choice. This is not a 5, but a 4-star hotel. A pass-through hotel for tourist groups Pros: the rooms are quiet, beautiful panoramic sea views, clean sea for swimming Food. Lunch can't be changed for dinner, it's sad. The Royal Terrace Restaurant has constant noise and a crowd of people. Chipped dishes, stained walls. The food itself is delicious, although the choice is modest sometimes (for example, in vegetables - why are there no onions?). An inappropriate choice of glasses for dinner: sparkling wine glasses everywhere. If you want multipurpose glasses, use the glasses for white wine. Room. Uncomfortable bathroom. You close the drain with your foot, no matter how you put the shower, the water floods the floor. The bathroom wall cannot be opened by entering the bathroom, and the shower doesn’t reach. So I can't wash my hair separately. You can't put shampoos on the edge of the tub - it is too narrow. After lunch, there are problems with hot water, hot water is replaced abruptly by cold one. The belt loops on my robe were torn. Paid ice delivery to the room for 5 euros is very strange. When we asked for a vase for flowers, some small earthenware pot was brought to us. This is clearly not a vase, not even a small bouquet would fit there. The mattress is uncomfortable, too soft. When the other person rolls over, you jump. Embroidery on the bed linen is torn. Service. From the very arrival we were upset. The first thing we saw was the reception. Dirty sofa, beach towels piled right at the counter. There was a queue for registration. The girl at the counter did not explain where to have dinner, I had to remind her that we have half board. The suitcases were not taken to the room. Regularly when we called room service at number 9 - no one picked up the phone, we had to call several times. Room cleaning is not very thorough. We tried to tip the maid twice, but she won't take it, still don't understand why. There is no service on the beach: waiters do not approach the sunbeds, do not take orders and do not collect dishes. Why is it possible to take only 2 towels on the beach? In the Royal Terrace restaurant, the waiter cannot explain at least the approximate tastes of wine (heavy-light, etc.) and answer simple questions about wine. The last time they brought warm white wine when ordering.

Beautiful hotel and resort. The grounds are clean, the staff kind and helpful, the room was so comfortable even with 2 children. We had buffet breakfast and dinner and the food was great. Lots of options to choose from. For dinner we watched the sunset and it was gorgeous. There are many options for swimming from pools to beaches the options are endless. The old city is just a 15min bus ride from the hotel which is great. There is a boardwalk that stretches all along the hotels. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
