Spent 2D1N for new tear eve. Room smells awful. Same experience of other 3star hotels, staff finally went mad and used the event to entertain themselves not the audience who purchased the package. GM gave speech that the hotel envisioned becoming one the best, I doubt this can happen actually with that poor service spirit. Jungling and DJ performance were good.

2 of our room safebox is not working. My friend room telephone is out of service. I wonder why the Senior Management dares to run Full House situation when you hotel facilities,room situation is not capable of handling 100% room. Occupany. Room is dirty with marks that has not been cleaned for years. Tv channel is so fuzzy. Took me more than 1hr & many telephone calls to Reception to have the safebox issues for the 2 rooms & telephone fixed. When a "new safebox" was replaced it looked like it has in some dirty storage. Engineering staff did not even bother to wipe clean the dust & dirt. My room was #819 & #740. Mr GM,please check your rooms before you decide to run full house. The old thumbs up,I would credit the Gentleman with spectacles who always apologise for matter that is not even under his care. He was working till 11pm shift on 31Dec2023 & morning shift,today. He should be promoted to Duty Manager for his calm & good manner despite Housekeeping & Engineering issues.

Room has a strong smell of furniture when first entry. Shower do not have hot water. Heavy rain during the second night and water leaked into the windows.

For a three-star hotel, they did a pretty good job. The hotel looks nice both inside and outside. They have a variety of room choices. The facilities are quite good with a gym, sauna, swimming pool, restaurant, spacious and comfortable lobby, and more. The hotel is in a convenient location in the city center, but the building is a bit small. I appreciate the staff for their good service and helpfulness. However, there are a few downsides I noticed. Since the swimming pool and gym are open to the public and next to the restaurant, the hotel can get crowded, especially during breakfast. The restaurant service is not very good. The food often runs out and takes a long time to be refilled. The menu options are not diverse, and sometimes there are bugs in the fruits. The cutlery is not always replenished quickly, and the table service is slow. The biggest problem is the elevators. They are very slow, and there are only two elevators in the main building. It's actually faster and more efficient to use the emergency stairs, even if you have to go to higher floors. I expected better service from the hotel.
