Went as a group of 6 with 3 rooms, the first room was okay, smaller than expected and the air con did not work. The second room was very small, had a disgusting dampish smell and air con did not work along with heaters that did not turn off, it was a horrible room to sleep in. The 3rd room was the wrong room, it was unprepared and beds turned upside down as if ready to be emptied out, after telling the staff we were given another key, we went to the new room assigned to find it was already occupied! After apologising the staff then arranged another room but it was not a sea view room which is what had been booked, there was mould in the showers and the bed was uncomfortable. None of the rooms had safes so nowhere to lock any valuables away, housekeeping was minimal, beds were not changed, towels only changed once and floor swept/mopped twice. Also, the hotel is at the bottom of a very steep hill so be prepared for the walk to the tram as that is the only way to access the central locations from the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel at all. The only good thing was the views from the terrace, and the breakfast served there.

We stayed at Sayeban hotel for the Istanbul leg of our tour of Turkey. I was really impressed with the level of honesty, professionalism and willingness to help from the hotel staff and Administration. The staff always patiently listened to our queries, did their best to help on things external to the hotel scope such as directions, efforts to measure luggage, booking taxis, recommended local spots, things to buy, cruise tours and did their best to coordinate with tour operators and made us feel welcome. The view from the terrace restaurant was great and the service from the staff was very friendly and attentive. The location of the hotel to city hotspots and tram transportation was great as was the general ambience on the streets. I would like to thank Mr. Laziz and his team for all the hospitality and have no qualms on recommending the hotel to other guests and friends.

The room is very small, as advertised, you have a very small dresser stand with two hangers to put your clothes on, the bathroom door opens on top of the room door (very strange positioning - see photo). The bed was uncomfortable but sheets were clean. The room is ok for a short stay. What shocked me was the bathroom. It was dirty and mouldy and with no ventilation. The cleaning is very superficial. The shower head was clogged and water would spray unevenly. This hotel needs some serious cleaning and refurbishing.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy hotel located in a bustling local area. Despite the busy surroundings, the hotel offered a comfortable retreat and was conveniently close to the main attractions. The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking view from our room, overlooking the old Greek church and the Sea. It was truly mesmerizing. Additionally, we discovered a great selection of authentic restaurants nearby, offering delicious food, particularly their amazing fish dishes. The combination of the hotel's charm, convenient location, and stunning views made our experience truly exceptional. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a cozy and picturesque stay in this vibrant area. It surpassed our expectations in every way!
