A very pleasant stay at the Schiller 5 hotel. The location is extremely convenient for the central Hauptbahnhof station. Trains from the airport stop here and it was no more than 5-10 mins walk away. Great location for a short stay. The area around the hotel was just ok. There was lots of building going on which means it isn’t the most peaceful of settings, although peace and quiet can’t be expected in a city centre. The rooms were a generous size. We had a kitchenette in our room. No milk was provided, although tea and Nespresso coffee pods were provided. The breakfast was good. Good choice of pastries and some hot options including scrambled eggs snd sausages. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had a good stay but left with a bad taste in our mouths. We were told upon check-in that our paid stay included breakfast. I even asked to re-confirm and was confidently assured. Upon check out, we were charged (by a different staff) for breakfast for each day. If it was a genuine mistake, thats fine. I am writing this for reference in case it happens to others. Booked via Expedia.

Thank you for an awesome experience, all round! The front desk staff were most helpful and willing to please ...and we thoroughly enjoyed our delicious breakfasts and the wonderful ladies who prepared and serviced the dining area (and our room). Clean, well appointed rooms, quiet. Very convenient location to visit the Old Town.

We had a great 4 nights stay. The hotel is ideally placed just 3-4 mins walk from the central station and with easy access to the U and S Bahn. It’s also possible to walk to MarienPlatz depending on your capabilities. We were warmly welcomed and well looked after by all staff. The room was well maintained and equipped. Having the fridge and free mini bar with water etc was great given the hot weather. Breakfast had pretty much all you could wish for and there was a nice outside space to return to in the evening. There is building work nearby but we never heard anything from this. Thank you to all at the Schiller 5 for a wonderful time in Munich. Highly recommended.
