Our stay was very pleasant. Very easy to book online and check-in was a breeze. The room was nice, nothing special but also nothing wrong with it. Our service throughout was wonderful! When we arrived, parking in the nearby garage was free for everyone - validation from the hotel wasn't necessary. By the time we checked out, the garage was charging. As we were leaving, Michael at the front desk chased us down to provide a validation pass. Literally ran across the lobby to stop us and make sure we could get out without hassle. About 2 hours later, we realized we had left something in the room. This was after our listed checkout time, but I called back and spoke with Michael again. He assured us that housekeeping could track down the lost item and we could pick it up from the front desk whenever. The service we received was awesome and put the entire stay above and beyond!

Could not pick a better location to see Penn State. The room was great. Clean, well lit, and quiet. The hotel was centrally located to the campus and a lot of shopping and restaurants. The below comments are just critiques but truthfully I would stay here again. One problem I saw was breakfast in the morning. The room was extremely dark and the meal was very pricey. The breakfast sandwich received was still frozen in the middle and only one person was on staff. I would not recommend eating breakfast based on this experience. The coffee is very good in the rooms and there are some nice college touches throughout the hotel. The gym was good as well except the peloton bike only had clipped in pedals. You have to have special shoes to ride. When it’s cold and you need to exercise that’s a real bummer.

At first thought the room looked very nice. I had to leave a card by the door to have power to the room. The bathroom appeared to have been repaired, but not completed. My spouse and I arrived later in the evening. So we looked forward to settling in relaxing. Unfortunately, we were met with a very stiff barn door to the bathroom, and no hot water. Shivering on the way out, figured we would at least try to stay warm in the room. Thermostat did not work in the room. You have to call the front desk to have them change it from their computer. You had no control over it. Walking through the room, we were walking over loose tiles and just hearing pockets of air or just feeling the shifting on the floor. Trying to watch TV was just as bad. Image was very fuzzy due to whichever stream service that was being used. Some moments were clear and then back to very pixelated. Lastly, you can tell the floor does not get swept very often by seeing the amount of debris by the edge of the bed. For being part of the Hilton brand, and being diamond members, I was very disappointed with this location.

Lots of great features here: kitchenette in the room, liquid hand soap instead of soap bars, a white noise machine (brilliant!), and laminate/tile floors, plenty of outlets for charging things, and a modern window shade that's easy to open/close. The room was very clean, although the shower floor looked dirty because the grout wasn't properly sealed. The Social bar is really nice and has a limited menu. The food was just okay and they were out of a lot of different alcohols. There is no parking for this hotel. You have to use the Pugh St parking garage, which is right across the street, but costs $12/day (discounted from the usual $18/day). I was disappointed that this wasn't advertised during the reservation process. There are also only entrances/exits on the front side of the hotel, so instead of walking to/from the parking garage at the side of the building, you have to walk around the corner. It's a very short walk, but there's a significant hill to walk up/down. Besides the parking issue, the location is great because you can easily walk to any number of restaurants. They don't offer breakfast. There are coffee machines in the rooms, and I think there is supposed to be coffee in the lobby, but there was a sign on the table saying it was broken. Every staff member I interacted with was very friendly. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely return.

Hotel was nice, but finding 8-10 hairs in one bed, two in another, and at least a dozen on the bathroom floor was disgusting. I asked to switch rooms at 8 PM but there were none available. I asked if someone could change the sheets, but was told housekeeping went home at 3 PM, but “I can give you sheets and you can change them yourself.” Are you kidding? I’ve never had to change the sheets of a hotel room. I doubt the existing sheets were even washed. The bath mat felt damp & had hair all over it. The shower curtain was stained with mildew, and there were random spots of who knows what filth on the bathroom wall near the sink. The bathroom door was a barn door that was very hard to open and close. Water was so soft, you couldn’t even wash the soap off & were left feeling slimy. My wife and daughters chose not to even shower there. The room felt humid, despite the ac being on 68-70. Parking is $12/day at the Pugh Street garage across the street. Fridge was a Walmart special, sitting on the floor in the open room, Nice hotel, good location, but never again.
