The front counter lady I had the honor of talking to was an extraordinary person and she went totally above and beyond. She spoke clear and perfect English and Japanese. She helped me with every situation I had and was quick about it and clear. The rooms were very nice, very small but at the price what are you looking for. I had absolutely no problem with it.

Great access to stations and shopping. Breakfast was a buffet for 1200 yen which was very tasty and lots of variety including gluten free and non-dairy. Staff were friendly and helpful. 4 stars because our room was quite dusty.

The location to Dotonbori is fantastic, everything is within a few minutes' walking distance. If you're vegetarian or vegan, literally just 1 block away there is one of the best restaurants, OKOTAKO! The free breakfast from the hotel is very extensive and many options for different styles (Western/Asian etc). There is also a free soda machine and coffee in the main building which even offers real Coca Cola which is a nice touch. The rooms are very small. If you put 2 small suitcases in there, you might as well book another room for yourself, as you can't open any doors to anything. There is no location, i.e. under the bed, where you could place your suitcases; hence you become an Olympic long jumper to get from the bathroom to the bed.

Place is tiny but manageable. Overall, beds are extremely comfortable and the hotel is located within minutes from dotonbori and many great local restaurants. Biggest issue with the hotel is the amount of dust in the room. A layer of dust coats the shelves overnight and just does not seem to clear itself. Opened all windows and still seems to be forever dusty. I suspect it may be due to an issue with the filter in the air conditioning. If you open the light, dust particles are flying throughout the air. People with allergies to dust beware as I started sneezing the moment I stepped into the room.
