Loved this hotel. They arranged our transfer from the airport, our flight was delayed so they were checking if we were ok and waited for us. The room is super cool, it maintains a good temperature because it is like a cave. The people are super nice, they got us a good price for the air balloons and the location is perfect. It was a cozy lovely place for us!

Rooms are nice, location is great however there is no air-conditioning inside the rooms, and the temperature can reach up to 40°c in the city!!! Literally you can not live inside the room, it is like a sauna. In addition the window is small and you cannot keep it open because it is very close to the street, someone can easily jump from the window to your room

This boutique hotel has great potential and is well positioned. A short walk to Goreme shops or up to Sunrise Point / Lovers Hill. The concierge “Norstrat” is a great guy and did everything in his power to make our stay very pleasant. And our room was nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable. But unfortunately this hotel is showing signs of some inconsiderate management cost cutting…. maybe more recently. By far the worst thing was the very unimpressive miniature breakfast buffet which had very limited food options. Although hot chips and pied were served occasionally. “Onsite Parking” accommodates only 3 cars so will often result in on-street parking. The street is steep, covered in sharp loose stones and very dusty , from the constant passing of tour buses (from hotels higher up the hill) and commercial vehicles. Many streets in Goreme are currently being resurfaced so the street may have improved greatly in a few weeks (or months) time. Thanks to Norstrat we did enjoy our stay there, but because of the pour breakfast buffet we’re unsure if we’d choose The Tibet Stone Hotel next time.
