This is advertised as a five star hotel with adjustable air conditioning. Our arrival was smooth and we were even upgraded. We went to the room and got ready for dinner. At this point we noticed that the temperature in the room kept climbing and by the time we left for dinner was at 24.5 degrees C. I made mention to the front desk on our way to dinner that the AC didn't seem to be working and they said the would check into it. I came back and our room was not only just as hot but they had come in and opened a window. When I went back downstairs I was informed that the AC is turned off for the season and it's cool enough outside that my complaints weren't concerning to them. I told them that we couldn't sleep in a hot room with no ventilation (the fan was turned off also), and we were leaving and demanding a refund of our two night paid reservation since they didn't provide us with amenities advertised, I was told that I would have to speak to a manager and he is at home and can't be disturbed. They have yet to refund any amount and my bank is challenging the charges. If you want a functioning room and some basic level of service avoid this property. In fact I won't stay at any Sina property after this experience. UPDATE, Once management found out about my problem, the swiftly refunded my reservation and invited me back at a discounted rate. I appreciate their willingness to try and make this right. And have updated the service to reflect this.

Quick stay at the gray for just one night passing thru on our way back from another European country. Unfortunately we unknowingly picked fashion week, so it was a bit crazy, and the hotel was fully booked so no upgrade available. But Ricardo at the front desk and I think the entire team (everyone we interacted with) took exceptional care of us, even finding a classic Milanese restaurant and booking a reservation for us. The room we had was pretty small but they brought fresh fruit and chocolate when we were out and overall, a good stay for a one night visit. Thanks Ricardo and everyone at The Gray Sina for taking good care of us!

essentially just a hipster hostel. rooms are insanely small & dusty. what is this, a hotel for ants?! you can hear everything that happens in the hallway & adjacent rooms through the walls. it sounded as if people were doing construction at times. the wifi didn’t work on either of my devices. air conditioning did not cool to the temperature set on the thermostat. staff was okay, but not really that friendly or helpful unless asked. room service menu was very limited and food quality was mid. they also stopped serving room service before the time listed on the guide. extremely overpriced and definitely not a “luxury hotel.” i can only imagine the people giving this place 5 stars were either bribed or have never been to an actual 5 star hotel.

been there in early Oct 2023 1. Staff is friendly. special thanks to the one who handle us on every breakfast. 2. Location of the hotel within walking distance from Duomo and other attraction. 3. Room is good and clean. 4. the only one that i'm not happy is that a. We assume chocolate that they put on on the table is free since it is located next to drinking water (bottle). but it is not.. and it is expensive. we don't see any sign notify us on this and as rules of thumb, we trust is free except those inside the fridge or have label on it saying so. b. Drinking bottle outside is free, but when we move it to fridge to cool it we have to pay. it is bit or argument but at the end we just paid. overall.. i may comeback .. :-)

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is next to Duomo and surrounded by good cafes and restaurants. The staff - doorman, receptionist, housekeeping and restaurant were super helpful and professional. We were very impressed with the service provided by Mr. Prasad at the restaurant. The quality of the breakfast was very good and Mr Prasad's special attention to our requests made it even further pleasant. We had an early flight and he was ready with breakfast to-go for us at 6:30am at the reception which really exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay here again.
