Have been staying here for 5+ years, had all of my staff stay there as well. I am in Miami every 3 months with at least 6 other guests. Great rooms, excellent concierge, awesome bar/food spot, have always been a loyal customer. My last trip, I had an intruder get into my room somehow while I was sleeping, stole a watch and cleared my wallet from all my cash. Dealt with their Security Team which was absolutely worthless, not contact from management, no nothing. These things happen, which I get. How I was treated post this trip was was basically "Shut up, go away" type attitude. Fernando in their concierge has always been great along with there bar staff, but I won't go back simply because I feel there was no effort in making any sort of remedy or even a "We value your business, and we apologize for your experience. Come back". Also, was back in my room early that night. Seems like it was an insider.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I went and stayed at the SLS south beach for a girls weekend/mom getaway with 2 friends and had a terrible experience. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this hotel was not up to par. The rooms were incredibly small and outdated, giving off a feeling of claustrophobia. The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing, with worn-out furniture and a general lack of maintenance. To make matters worse, there was a BOMB THREAT (apparently this wasn't their first rodeo with that and it had occurred 1 or 2 other times) during my stay, which was an extremely distressing situation. The hotel staff did not handle the situation well, failing to provide clear communication or reassurance to the guests. It was a chaotic and unsettling experience that left me feeling unsafe and anxious. Additionally, the lobby bathroom and stair case on each floor were very unsettling. It was evident that the hotel did not prioritize the safety of their guests. The most frustrating part of my experience was the unhelpful and robotic attitude of the staff. First when I requested a better room when I first arrived and then when I called the hotel's customer service to request a full refund and allowing me to cancel entire stay due to the numerous issues I encountered, the representative I spoke to was unresponsive and seemed to be reading from a script. She showed no empathy or understanding of my situation, which only added to my frustration. Thankfully after hours and hours of wasted time i was able to leave this hotel and find a new place to stay nearby and I didn’t have to spend an single night there. Overall, I strongly advise against staying here. The combination of small and outdated rooms, a bomb threat incident, a sketchy lobby bathroom, and unhelpful staff make this hotel a terrible choice for any traveler. Save yourself the stress and disappointment and look for alternative accommodations. Oh and did I mention the front desk lady telling me I had Extremely high standards? I found that odd being that the SLS chain of hotels are suppose to be on the high end side and rooms are not cheap.

TERRIBLE. The hotel rooms are dirty, no hot water. Engineer came up and attempted to fix it, didn’t work. The management team does not care about anyone but money. We stayed one night and left to go to a better hotel as the hotel at SLS was absolutely terrible. They also gave us a handicap room and explained that the hot water isn’t working due to the handicap room which we weren’t notified that we were getting this room. We have so many friends that stay here and now they will not return to SLS. Change your management team and get mangers that actually care.

At SLS Hotel South Beach, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff, understanding it was my wife birthday, surprised us with an incredible upgrade to a spacious Villa boasting stunning pool views. The room itself was a haven of comfort and style, with ample space and a bathtub that could easily be deemed legendary. What took the experience to the next level was the minibar – a true spectacle of extravagance. Stocked with an impressive selection of treats and beverages, it was undoubtedly the most opulent minibar I've ever encountered in my life. SLS Hotel South Beach not only provided a luxurious escape but also went above and beyond to turn our stay into a memorable celebration. Highly recommended for those seeking a perfect blend of comfort and extravagance in Miami Beach!

The only thing good about this place was the location. We stayed here for about a week and I couldn't believe how bad the rooms and vibe was. The hotel is only a little better than a cheap motel. All the positive reviews must have been bought. I know for sure that we weren't the only ones who thought this, we met another gentleman who was complaining about this. On top of this the elevators were so bad and slow. Please find the pictures attached. It looked like an elevator from Ross. But the worst part was the price. I would have been more forgiving if the price was appropriate. For upwards of $300(excluding a LOT of hidden fees) and a 4 star hotel I expected better. Will never go here and actively prevent people from going.
