Stayed for two nights at this boutique hotel and enjoyed it a lot. The location is superb, very close to the beach and in the middle of Ocean drive. They offer a parking spot in the public garage down the corner. The rooftop pool and bar are amazing for an easy morning coffee or a sunset cocktail. The only minor issue is the checkin / unload area which was full (public street parking) and you need to check in first to enter the garage. Diner tip: Mexican restaurant other site of the road

We stayed at the Tony for 3 nights whilst in Miami. Upon arrival to our room, we noticed yellow and grey stains on our sheets… we went down to reception to complain (very politely) and they didn’t apologise at all, just asked if we wanted new sheets or a new room. When we said new sheets is fine, the said they’d send housekeeping up right away, whilst we were out parking our car. We came back after parking the car and they had not yet been changed… luckily they did come later but would’ve been nice to at least have an apology! The room itself was okay - rather basic, very thin walls (could hear conversations word for word in the corridor), and not the cleanest, but it did the job. It was great to have an ironing board and iron (that actually worked) in the room, and the TV was huge with a great selection of channels. The self parking was great and super easy. The car park is very near the hotel and the in and out access key is a great idea. The pool and pool area were also lovely. Nice, good value Margaritas up there too. For the price compared to other places in South Beach, I probably would stay again, just a shame about a few things.

I booked the Tony hotel for 1 night and arrived super early. The front desk staff were super nice, gave me a pool pass for the day, a coupon for their lobby bar and held my luggage. My room was ready around 2 pm and I had received a complimentary upgrade to get a larger room closer to the beach! The concierge was so fun and friendly. Yes this hotel is older with a modern twist, a lot of the hotels on south beach are old. But this one was clean so that’s all that mattered to me! Also the only negative review I have is the food and service at the pool bar. There was only one girl bartending/serving on the Saturday so she was extremely busy. She forgot to get my 2nd drink and when I ordered food, my salad came out missing cucumbers and had goat cheese instead of feta (was supposed to be like a Greek salad with quinoa) but honestly it took so long and I was starving so I didn’t complain and just ate it!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and comfortable! The amenities are pretty standard overall but that doesn’t matter because the location is as good as it gets. The beach is across the street and anything you could ever need our want is a short walk away. The streets are crowded with tourists but there aren’t any hustlers around to bother you.

We only did the day pass coming back from our cruise. I wish we stayed the night! Felt very safe there with Domingo. They stored our bags while we enjoyed the pool and the beautiful city. Pool was a little crowded. So only one of us swam because of the crowd but that person in our party loved it. I was so happy there was water readily available for us to drink because we needed it! For $29 for a day pass was worth it. Hopefully one day I can go back to Miami and stay at this hotel. And everyone at this hotel spoke English well so I was easy to communicate with everyone!
