You get what you paid and more. Super close to JR station and there is a family in front of hotel. 1 min walk to 24hr supermarket. Nothing to complain about, the staff is very nice and helpful too :) Thank you all so much, I’ve had a great stay in your hotel. And I definitely will come back if I visited Tokyo

Stayed here in October 2023 Pros: price, friendly staff, location to train. Cons: bathroom smelled like sewage during random times, ac is controlled by hotel as far as heat or ac you can only control airflow in your room. It was on ac when I checked in then after I came back from dinner they switched it to heat and it was in the 70’s that day so the room was blazing hot. Had to beg the staff to switch it to ac and they did for two day but turned it to fan for my last two day so I had to open the window which didn’t help much. hotel is dated, wifi is bad!

Pros: 1. generous size for a japanse hotel (including the bathroom). very comfortable for one person. 2. has all the things you need. 3. next to subway, and the local neighborhood is good. has plenty of food from cheap to medium. plenty of groceries, coffee, etc. 4. kind staffs. 5. i got it for a good price. good value. Cons: 1. a bit old, but not rundown, and well kept. but hey a bit old nonetheless.

Service staff has NO basic English AT ALL to communicate, wait a while before judging (it’s a hotel, come on at least some basic) Mind you, my partner can speak intermediate Japanese and enough for them to understand any questions we had during. What was amusing was when they replied us in Japanese throughout and when we had some hiccups and asked to repeat, they didn’t bother speaking slowly or take out a device to translate. WE HAD to be the one doing it when they, who work in service like should have a translation device like the other hotels we had during our stay here. And when we were struggling to find the meaning, the hotel manager continued speaking in Japanese and didn’t pause to see whether we got the message and continued blabbering. What’s better is that he gave such a snug attitude like “Not my problem.” And here’s an edit: Other hotels HELP us fill up luggage transfer form unlike them. If you’re in service line and you’re getting money from tourist, have basic decency to invest in a translation device or slow down when speaking to others who do not or have little knowledge about the language. Verdict: Not English friendly so do not recommend. The worst hotel stay we’ve been here in Japan.

The hotel is conveniently located next to two train lines, many restaurants, and convenience stores. It's not in a "touristy" area, which can be a plus. It's not as clean or modern as some other hotel options, but it's a decent value for the price.
