The hotel is very nice, and the rooms would be very nice if they were in mint condition, but they show their age - could use some serious renovations. Because of that it looks like it's not 100% clean, but the actual cleanliness is good. Staff is excellent and so very welcoming, if anything I had to make good use of the DND sign often as the staff were frequently inquiring about any help I might need (at least twice a day, morning with cleaning and evening with additional checks and water refills). Everyone is extremely kind and helpful. Restaurant and bar prices are very high, even for hotel standards, and there are no shops or locations to eat nearby, so take that into account. Location is gorgeous, and this is a good home base for sightseeing excursions for the south of the island, provided you get a car or have a guide/driver (there is taxi service at the hotel, I have not tested it though). Also, no ATM on the grounds - you can pay for everything with a card though.

We are a Indian family of 3 ppl. The stay was amazing . The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The people are very friendly and helpful. They arranged Indian food for us in good sense as we were bit uncomfortable with the continental offering. Kudos to the team. Need some improvement on the food menu with Indian food and some mild spicy items for our taste.Even the continental dishes, the pizza , pasta and burger were a bit cold when served. Would appreciate the TV to have a Chromecast feature as well. Pros, 1, Great rooms 2, Friendly staff 3, Great location Cons, 1, Food menu can be a bit diverse. 2, Some indian base food items in buffet. Will suggest for the full board option if booking here. Would highly recommend booking here. Friendly staff, peaceful location and tastefully designed rooms on the island.

Great Hotel. Had 1 week here in October 23, the staff at the hotel are excellent very attentive and polite. This hotel really brings together the best parts of the island. We loved the snorkeling, landscaping, rooms and restaurants. All laid out to provide privacy and a sense of the tropical getaway. As always the staff are the best thing about a good stay and here is no exception, very professional, polite and helpful. Nothing but respect for these people and gratitude. We stayed in a double luxury room that features an outdoor shower area and quiet garden area looking over the lawn to the sea. The room was kept clean and room service calling regularly to check on provisions such as drinking water. A quirky accent are the buggy rides from the entrance down into the resort. We hired a car and a golf cart would ferry us to and from the car park. Snorkeling from the beach is great, whilst not as epic as the Blue Bay it is fully accessible and very diverse with coral and fish to see. The wind (when we stayed) often blew in off the sea providing a cool breeze in 28deg heat making it very comfortable. As B&B guests we used the restaurant and the only negative I have is the price of the onsite food and drink. Expect UK/EU pricing. Beer around £10 a pint, £10 a sandwich, £42pp for the evening buffet. All fairly reasonable in terms of quality but felt a little over priced in comparison to local prices. Food offering is more than sufficient with a good continental and cooked breakfast. I'm fairly certain if a guest had any special requests the hotel would seek to accommodate based on our experience. Evening music was live and of good taste/quality every night we were there. There was always plenty of space to relax in the bar area and enjoy the scene at the end of the day. We travelled around a bit of the island, from experience and our preference this is an excellent hotel and value for money. We found many locations within Mauritius lacking in restaurants and evening activities, as such choosing a hotel/resort like this is a great base to head out and explore from or stay and soak up the experience on offer.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. Quite and wild nature around. Room was spacious and quite well equipped. Food was good, not a big variation but decent. The bar was amazing! Staff is friendly. The minus was absence of daily room cleaning. Kids Club is very small without any activities and toys. The gym is not well equipped and almost all machines are out of service. Overall experience was pleasant!

We had a great stay in Mauritius. The hotel experience was also overall good barring a few things- Pros: 1. The room is designed well. Much better than the pics. Has 2 entrances. One that goes to the main area of the hotel. The second backyard entry opened out to the beach. The beach obviously was gorgeous 2. The restaurant had good food on the menu especially sea food. 3. The SPA staff is great. They were warm, welcoming and just the right amount of chatty. Had a lovely spa experience with my daughter. 4. It's located in the natural / wild side of Mauritius. Cons: 1. On day 1 itself there was leakage from the ceiling which wet all of my son's clothes as his bag was right below the spot that started leaking. The staff offered to iron all his clothes to dry them up. But I preferred to just put them up to dry in the room which was an unsightly 2 days. 2. The manager kept squirming every time he ran into us (still not sure why). 3. The restaurant staff wasn't as warm as one would expect at a highly rated resort, especially when you have two young children. 4. The Indian options at the restaurant were minimal and not so great. Had a terrible experience with alu paratha. So you'll be good only if you're ok to have continental cuisine 3 times a day. 5. You cannot connect your phone to the TV or the Bose speakers (which they gloat about). The speakers were actually useless considering they didn't connect to anything. So my son was deprived of all screen time throughout our stay there.
