When travelling I have certain expectations and the Sonder did not meet many. I was forced to stay at this location by my corporate booking agent to save on costs. The process is different, if you have not stayed with them before, downloading apps, booking solely online etc. I still enjoy talking to someone, and enjoy my bonus points through my usual chain. I booked a one bedroom and got a loft, and dealing with the issue was difficult through the app, so I just dealt with it. The room was small but well thought out, I will say the water pressure in the shower was fantastic and that was a huge plus. The bed in my room (518) was horribly hard, the pillows were overly soft which is a horrible sleeping combination for me. The workout facility is very basic and small. I was stuck for 3 days without daily room service and that is a large inconvenience for me, coming home from a day at work to an unmade bed is unacceptable for me. The walls were extremely thin and you could hear regular conversations in the adjoining rooms. At night the entry door looked like an alien invasion on the other side with no blockage of the hallway light. The location to the downtown and government buildings was central and easily accessible. All in all, I did not enjoy my stay of 3 days.

Loved every bit of our stay! Seamless checkin, perfect location - so much within walking distance and cheap ($8) parking close by. All staff was extremely friendly, ready to help with any questions. Immaculately clean, comfortable bed, great layout with kitchenette and two bathrooms. And our kids loved the games room. Perfect affordable stay for a family of four :)

Great location, easy to get around. Check in was super easy z. Large space with all facilities AND price is wonderful. Like a nice apartment but everything is prepared for you. Didn’t use anything outside our room but seems they have an OK gym and basketball court. Only problem was that the fire alarm went off twice (don’t know how often that happens) and we asked for free late check-out, pretty smooth.

My second time staying at a Sonder, but first time in a Canadian one. We stayed at an apartment suite and it was so clean, great amenities, comfortable bed, easy check-in and fully stocked. I was impressed with the layout and the convenience of everything. Location was great as we needed to be close to the government buildings & lots of walkable places to eat & sight see. But it’s a very busy location and not easy to just turn left during peak hours. Parking was underground, $25 per day and if you have a large vehicle, it’s very very tight to get in and out, best for smaller vehicles. Nonetheless, everything else was perfect!

Honestly the best experience I’ve had in a hotel in a while, and I stay at hotels frequently. Amazing 1 bedroom suite, newly renovated it seemed, everything was clean and modern. No need for a key, codes to access everything. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Amazing location in downtown close to everything, we parked our car for the whole three days and walked everywhere. For the price, I think it can’t be beat.
