Sudamala Resort, Komodo, Labuan Bajo

This is a nice resort with beautiful rooms but we didn't like the staff. The girl at the reception was not friendly or welcoming at all. Even more, she asked for my passport and started questioning me about my visa (as it was in another passport). While my partner just provided a photo of his main page and she didn't ask him any questions and didn't check his visa. That was the first time in my life a hotel receptionist asked for that and it was a very weird experience. She didn't explain any reason or didn't even try to be nice. That left an unpleasant feeling and we won't be staying at this hotel anymore. I hope that the hotel management will train the staff to behave better, that was not a 5 star experience at all

This is our first time visit Labuan Bajo and we choose Sudamala Resort Komodo as our home for 5 nights. The location is around 15 mnts drive from the Airport and around 10 mnts without traffic to the port or city centre . You can use their shuttle services from or to Airport and also to the city centre. The moment we arrived everything was just perfect. Beautiful Landscape, lovely pool,Beautiful and spacious suite and also lovely staff who greets us with their sincere smile. Our Room was Kelimutu Deluxe Suite,the Bed is so comfy,have very big spacious space and also spacious bathroom. The rooms we were staying was 715 and 716 which have a connecting door that perfect for us (3 Adults and 2 children). The Breakfast had plenty of choice to start your day. Make sure try the Bubur Ayam :) that was my Morning "a must" try. The dinner also have plenty of choice and they also have Kids Menu for the youngs one. The Catch of The Day on Dinner Menu is "a Must" try because I think it's represented the Local taste of Labuan Bajo. The pool is very nice and have the pool bar too. Perfect for having drinks and watching their beautiful sunsets. My Husband and daughter did their PADI Open Water Course by The Aqura Dive, Pedro and his team did really a great and excellent service. We definitely will recommend Sudamala Resort Komodo to everyone either you are a solo traveller, family with children's or group of friends. During our stay we were really touched by their excellent service who goes beyond our expectations from The General Manager, Assistant GM, The Front office,Houskeeping team, Gardener, The Spa Team, The Kitchen Chef and their staff,The Aqura Dive team and specially the Food and Beverage Team while mostly we spent our time by the pool bar and Wae Rebo restaurant always very attentive with our request and served us with their biggest smile and even remembered our favourite order :).And the star of the service team is Pak Yande :) Thank you so much for your hospitality Pak Yande even my Son (Mason) is still asking about you until today cos you always tease him with your jokes ;). And of Course Ibu Mayo thank you so much also for your hospitality and kindness to us specially when my Daughter was feeling unwell , how you so worried about Alysha and send the medicine and asking us what else we needed to make sure my daughter would feel better. Also thank you for the arrangement on our last day in Labuan Bajo Ibu Mayo ;). The Birthday surprised for me and the Goodbye moment with most of the team member of Sudamala Resort Komodo was the ultimate moment that made us tears down. It was like saying Goodbye to our own family. We were fortunate to experienced such a kind of excellent hospitality from all of you at Sudamala Resort Komodo. Once again Thank you Pak Suk,Ibu Mayo,Pak Yande,Pedro,Mba Zha,Pak Hendra and the whole team of Sudamala Resort Komodo.. All of you did a fantastic and Excellent hospitality...!!
