Very nice hotel with top end amenities! Room was large enough with comfortable bed. Bathroom is awesome! combo bath & shower and high tech toilet. The breakfast buffet has a huge variety of food, well worth it! We were on the 14th floor so had a pretty good view of the city too.

We are a couple visiting Taipei. Kevin at the counter helped us out with checking in. The service is great and personable. We were overcharged due to some technical issue and Kevin resolved it within a minute. Location is great. Lots of food and night market around the hotel. Parking is easy and convenient. We also like the Gym a lot. Will definitely stay here again next time visiting Taipei.

Staff at the concierge was extremely rude. We asked to print our boarding pass (1 page (in black and white) each for the 2 of us). The staff then informed us that it cost NTD20 per piece. We were surprised as none of the 4/5 star hotels we stayed in worldwide has ever charged us for this. We shared this experience of ours with the said staff. His response, rudely - "I don't know what other places are doing. So, do you want to print or not?" It's not about the money. This should be part of the services provided by a 4/5 star hotel. In fact, most of the hotels we stayed in even printed our boarding passes for us and placed them in an envelope, free of charge. We understand that this is their policy but we were just simply surprised by this. But what surprised us even more is the rudeness of their staff - he could have just replied politely that this is unfortunately just their policy. We were just sharing our experience with other hotels as genuine feedback to Taipei Garden, we were not even demanding for it to be FOC. Taiwanese are really polite people - but this staff at the concierge was an exception.

I had a wonderful stay a few years ago. Booked this hotel again to find out that they have rooms with a window that allows someone from the bedroom to see inside the bathroom. There is a shade however, the other wall of the bathroom is opaque glass, directly across from a mirror. No privacy at all. The breakfast is still good. Location is a difficult by train and by car. There's an Android TV and you can log into Netflix.
