We stayed here for 5 days. Location was best. Very close to istiklal street and metro. Few things which we came across was not good that there were no lift in the hotel and we got 4th floor although hotel staff helped us to carry the luggage up and down but the stair-case was really antique and tough to climb and get down every day. In istanbul most of the hotels dont have lifts so check properly before booking. 2ndly they dont change bedsheets and towels everyday. They have a policy to change after every 3rd day which was something that i dont appreciate. The cleaner keeps talking to someone on headset, informs and complains each n everything to the owner in a way that owners start getting rude to the guest. Cleaner doesnt understand english so it was really difficult to ask for anything. Yes they do send room service on regular basis but they have their own policies. Thirdly ,the washroom needs to repair . Toilet seat was broken and washroom was so small . Owner get rude once with my husband and started to fight on phone, still i couldnt understand what was the matter with him as we didnt say anything to him but after that he behaved very well with us and give us a favour to keep our baggage after check out. Also one guy from the reception helped us to call uber.. That shows a grear geature to us. Fourth that ,building was completely wooden which makes u feel the old times. When someone walks and run on the top floor so every footstep feels. But it was fine as we didnt get disturb alot. Only the loud music on weekends from the near by bar.

Bad experience. Smelly washrooms and bad service. They don’t know how to treat guest. Worst behaviour. No water at night sometimes. No basic toiletries like soap,brush,tissue. No mirror in the room. No lift. Small rooms. Small bathroom. Dusty stairs. Receptionist not available most of the time. No room service.This hotel is very bad. Not recommended.

I had the best 3 days of my honeymoon at this hotel ❤️ , they have good rooms and good location near by taksim square and many places 👍🏻👍🏻

Great location. Near Taksim airport bus stop and metro station, easy to get to tourist attractions. Next to Taksim mosque and a bustling hugh street with nice coffee shops, pubs and restaurants to hangout in the evening. Used to be a puppet workshop, so there are many handmade puppet decorations in the lobby. Nice and gentle owner can make some suggestions on what to do in Istanbul. Highly recommended.
