Taxim 34 is an ideal hotel if you're staying at Istanbul, it's located right next to taksim cd. It has a lot of restaurants, shops, grocery stores and pharmacies near. The Rooms were actually really nice with a beautiful view of Taksim cd. (Not all rooms ofcourse but the rooms up front) just a minor issue is that there is a club next to it so there is quite some noise but it is very muffled and not sharp so it's not too much of a problem, also in a three person room on the 2nd floor one bed was broken but it was reported and probably fixed. Service was good house cleaning came in everyday and made the bed and cleaned everything and also very friendly people at the front desk nice and very helpful.

a well-located hotel in the heart of the lively Taksim area. The rooms are good and the owner at the reception is very welcoming and will do everything possible to satisfy you. The quality/price ratioo of the hotel is very satisfactory and personaly i spent a good stay

Taxis 34 Hotel is located just adjacent to Istiklal Street so the location is a plus plus for tourists looking forward to explore Istanbul. . The staff is cordial & welcoming but the rooms were pretty average. . There were faults in many things & we even had a cracked window in the room which was taped carelessly. Shower doors were ill fitted, & since there was a club next door the banging music was a disturbance in the night. . Views very shabby & hence if you don't have plan to stay much in the hotel & come over only to sleep, might be an OK option to accept.

Good location (just meters from Istikal Mall, and 40m from Taksim Metro). Large room, clean sheets, towels, fridge, bottled water/tea/coffee replaced daily, and few toiletries (slippers, shower gel, hair dryer, etc). A few broken things in the toilet (seat, no soap holder, no toilet paper holder). Main room light which switches to disco blue, didn't work after a day). 5 story Hotel - you have to book a room on the 4th floor, and maybe invest in cheap ear plugs. There is a nightclub next door and you will hear the extremely loud, thumping music, the drunks yelling on the street, and between 5am - 6am, the call to prayer from the nearby mosques. The reception is small, the staff seemed indifferent to us, didn't really help with getting us to where we wanted to go (BTW, like 99% of Turks, they don't speak English but Google Translate Auto works perfectly).
