Overpriced for what you get. Big room and ours had a double and single bed. But just doesn't feel that clean to be honest. Cushions on the bed had stains on, some leftover chicken in the cupboard....grim. 3 different sachets of shampoo/shower gel in the room. Staff were friendly for check in/out

Basic rooms, one of which the door needed a slam and the shower curtain was vile, plus it was very very very hot there as the radiator was up full, but I was too drunk to care when I got back after my night out. Just don't expect much.

Affordable and in a great location. The rooms are clean and neat. The building and amenities are a bit older but the cleanliness and location really came up for it.

So before I start my review understand this is a CHEAP HOTEL AND THERE FOR IF EXPECTING THE RITZ YOU’VE COME TO THE WRONG PLACE. Positives - It's cheap, good location, external noise is quiet and near a lovely grassy area where you can sit and relax if weather allows. Beds comfortable and linen and towels clean and fresh smelling. Negatives - Well let's start with Fawlty Towers meets Youth Hostel. Rooms are run down, very basic. Bathrooms are hit and miss some have been refurbished and some look terrible. The heavy doors with automatic closing mechanisms are a nightmare as everyone slams them so don't expect to sleep past 7am. Walls are paper thin so you will hear people next door talking and snoring. Not all the windows open, our room didn't so we were boiling all night. Stayed twice now as was convenient for our group to stay here but we've decided to explore our options for next time as stay 2 wasn't that great.
